Very nicely done on the game thread. This is how a game thread should start out. I like the ERA's and team W-L records. It's called going the extra mile - and I for one like it. Now let's go out there and get a win!

Except that you should have started the game thread, as you started last night's.
It's on Kingpin if we lose.

1B Matt LaPorta out with a sore left foot (hit by pitch on Friday night). He's available off bench. Hopes to be recovered by Tuesday.

Haha. That smells fishy to me. He was able to finish the game Friday, and made a boneheaded play to lose to game for us. That night Acta was obviously not happy with him and his uhhhhhh "throw" to home. Maybe it really is the foot, who knows. But I dont miss him in the lineup.

Must win this game. Tigers lost so being 3 games back with the vile bastards coming into town would be agreeable. I wouldn't mind sweeping the vermin either.

He hit that off his front foot and off the end of the bat. The ball jumps in that joint for sure.

They probably need to keep Duncan at this point. What's the move, DFA'ing Kearns or Hannahan?

If they keep Duncan they can't let Hannahan go. Too valuable at corner spots defensively. It's not his full-time gig but he's the best defensive 1B they have as well.

Does anyone else enjoy the fact that Christopher Moltisanti, who was a self destructive alcoholic on The Sopranos, is now a pitchman for 1800 Tequila?

Gotta DFA Kearns. All everybody talks about re: Duncan on Twitter/when he gets sent down is how great of a teammate he is. He's the most excited guy on every walk-off. He means a lot to this club. He has to stay. They need a PH RH bat and need his energy.

It was Billy Bats in the bar that told Pesci to go get his fuckin' shinebox.
Spider just told Pesci to go fuck himself (or something to that effect) after Pesci had shot him in the foot.

I would never punch a midget. But I do like to know where they are at all times. If I was in charge, they would all be tagged with micro GPS locators. If one gets too close, I send out the Midget Response Team.
I thought about starting a construction business that employs midgets only. I know they couldn't build much with their little sausage fingers, so i'd let people watch for $4 to supplement revenue.

I only started it last night's thread since there wasn't one and i was unable to watch or listen since i am too stubborn(
