Then that slider wraps around the plate and is called.

The umping has been atrocious all year long behind the plate. Base guys are fine. Home plate umps are terrible.

Amazing, all things considered. Glass half empty: Obviously should've been much better on trip; Glass half full: Team bouncing back from devastating losses.

Before the trip, I said I'd sign up for 3-4 so I'm not gonna be a hypocrite. After tomorrow though, we're done with all four good teams from the East and West and need to turn it up. I think 30 out of the final 51 games (86-76) gets it done in the Central as long as we go at least 6-6 against Detroit.

Didn't get to hear the game until we had scored. Started to feel personally responsible when TX started to score. But the blood pressure can't take many more of these games...the Tribe isn't the only one hanging by a thread!

Sure would be nice to win tomorrow but after the first three games in Bahstun I'm pretty impressed with what we've done. Got folded and bent but not mutilated yet.

Need to have someone else start the 9th to get one out. Then bring in Perez for the close. He can get you two quick outs every time. Just can't seem to get the 3rd. In the age of specialization, we now have a 4-out set-up man and a 2-out closer.

Nice to see the Tribe win in the final inning for a change.

Am I right in thinking that unless Detroit skip a starter (off day Monday) we will miss Verlander in the upcoming series?

What the hell happened to Acab? The guy nearly single handedly cost the Tribe the game. I'm even willing to forgive the error, but getting picked at 1st? In that situation? He need to get his head out of his Durbin.

Great big Atta' Boys for Brantley, Kip and Chiz. Love the clutchiness.

You would be right if Jim Leyland wasn't a douchebag. He just shuffled the rotation so that we get Verlander. Oh happy day :pb: :gah: ::doh::

Well we have mixed results against Verlander. Sometimes he bums us hard other times he smack him around like a piñata.

Calling a Japanese pitcher a Jap is not the same as called Asdrubal a spic. They are so different, Not even in the same ball park, not even the same sport. Now if I were to say slant-eye instead of Jap, then that'll be close to spic.

And if you're upset about me calling a Japanese pitcher a "Jap"; why not the Native Americans & Chief Wahoo??? Do you protest every year on opening day? What are you smoking in your peace pipe?
