Kearns again? WTF? There better be a good reason for this.....Im losing alot of faith in Acta. He's made a ton of questionable moves the past two months.

It was reported this AM, both by Ocker and Hoynes, that Brantley was out with a sore wrist..not sure which one.
That is why he did not play yesterday either. It was said he should be ready for Texas.

Still the thumb issue for Brantley. Acta said before Wednesday's game that Michael Brantley has been battling a sore right wrist for more than a week and will miss at least the next two games. That would put his return not until Friday at the earliest.

FWIW one the the sports guys from "985 the Sports Hub" talk radio was on TV last night talking a few Red Sux points from viewers' tweets. One person asked if Bedard would have a <4.0 ERA with the Sux this year. The guy laughed and said he'd be lucky to have a <14.0 ERA over the next two months. A follow-up tweet said Bedard wouldn't be able to maintain a 4.0 at Pawtucket. I sure hope he's right and the Tribe can make up for all the runs they haven't scored for Masty when he's pitched this year.

You're right in that Kearns beat Bedard on the second try. However Bedard tapped the bag with his toe on the first try. I hate it when that happens.

Another reason White and Pomeranz became more palatable to lose? Masterson showing he's a legit FOR pitcher. Coming into the season, Masterson was at best an option for a No. 3 starter. But what he's doing this season is legit. The stuff, the make-up, the velocity mean he's not a fluke and a controllable frontline pitcher for the next few years.

I didn't remember right.

So sad what happened with Gerut. Wouldn't take to coaching, messed with his swing that offseason and then got hurt. Really wasted talent at a time when the Tribe had little.
