He hit his spots.

Just a cuh-rucial 8th inning vs. meat of order for Smith.

I understand getting the extra force, but they'd really rather face Crawford than Ortiz?

Uh...yes. A thousand times yes.

Crawford has a Lou Marson like ability to get on base.

Papi is one of the great clutch hitters in baseball history.

Yeah, celebrate, you mass-holes. Teams with huge payrolls should win over small-market teams. It's called an "unfair advantage." Just remember that when you get cocky.

I become more and more convinced every outing that Pestano's dominance is an aberration. He maY be a solid contributor for years, but he's not a dominating pitcher. Still reminds me of David Riske. The more a hitter sees him, the more they'll hit him.

Thinking the same thing. The scouting reports must be getting pretty detailed now. He's got to change some things around, because we need him to be a late inning bridge guy.

The one Huff gave up was unearned. If that one doesn't score, then we are up 2-1 going into the bottom of the 9th and we have our closer pitching instead of pisstano.

Not mention that terrible throw by Carrera. If that throw is even close to where it needs to be Staalamabkjasdgcha is dead.

Was surprised to see it was Huff rather than Carrasco sent back to Columbus. Granted, Huff will not keep pitching like he has been, and clearly, overall, Jimenez is the better pitcher. But basically, this amounts to putting Jimenez in Huff's spot and it will be difficult for anyone to keep pitching as well as Huff was. I wonder if Carrasco has another bad outing tonite, might we see him optioned out and ten days later, Huff recalled?

Huff was sent down last night after the game. Expect him to come back after Carrasco serves his suspension and gets sent down.

Don't need a 5th starter til August 13. Huff is eligible to come back on August 13.

I meant before the first pitch of an Indians reliever. Did I not say that clearly? My bad.
