I'm pretty sure a PTBNL cannot ever be on the major league roster between the time of the trade and the PTBNL being announced..... so, you can rest assured.

I actually really like the Sawx call team.

100 million times better than trying to listen to that old whack job Heinsohn ramble on during Celtics games.

After the weather passed through our temps dropped into the mid-60s. With a breeze in that place he's probably freezing his little tooshy off.

The NESN announcers are alright. One of them dislocated Francona's pinky so he's aces in my book.

Ugh I feel a Durbin or Herrmann session tonight with Huff likely only going 5 innings tonight.

I like the lead guy, just cannot stand Jerry Remy.

My least favorite pairs (and because I have had Extra Innings for 5 years now, I know em all well):

1. Impemba and Rod Allen, DET
2. Hawk and Steve Stone, ChiSox
3. Bert Blyleven, Minn
4. Rangers yawn fest

I like our guys, Angels (Gubicza is cool), Mariners, and Orioles guys. YES team is very full of themselves and they must have 7 different trios calling games depending upon time, place, and space...

but I LOATHE listening to those goofs in Detroit. It's one thing to be a homer, but another to be obnoxious about it. They still cannot get over Jim Joyce and Galarraga has been gone.

C'mon Huff. Finish this inning and then:

Durbin - 6th
Smith - 7th
Sipp - 8th
Rage - 9th

But we need a 6-4-3 now!

No- I just really like Vlad. Guy hits ANNNY thing. Ball or strike. In fact, I'd be tempted to disobey my "turn in your man card if you wear a jersey of a guy younger than you" rule.

Sipp? He has been terrible the last couple of weeks. No thanks. Not at least in the 8th. Maybe in the 7th with the bottom of the lineup.

Thanks, but it's been running through my mind since I first thought of posting that. The Who ROCKS!

Have you guys noticed how quiet the crowd sounds are? As in they are all stunned silent? Man, that is the greatest thing ever! Or should I say "Evah"? LOL! These people are jerks AND they can't talk. Sheesh...

You guys notice how Beckett kicks himself in the right leg just above the knee with his left heel on his delivery. It has left a mark on his pants.

How many times do we have to see Santana ground out to second base on a ball outside before we change his swing. It's getting old.

Some of you guys have griped about "one inning too many" when it comes to Acta and Tribe starting Ps. What are the odds? Is Huff coming out for the bottom of the 6th?

Edit: Acta made the right call in pulling him. Huff was Tuff!!!

A few minutes ago, they showed some clips of that game from last year about this time when Beckett hit Choo and Duncan (the day after Santana's knee got destroyed), and yet came charging out of the dugout absolutely enraged when Jensen Lewis finally returned the favor. Never did understand what the hell his problem was. What did he expect, Boston could just keep disabling our players?

Gubicza is one of my favorite.

YES network is terrible. That woman is horrible. I remember when Clemens announced during a game he was coming back, she cried. I wanted to slit her throat with a plasitc spoon.

IMO THESE are the worst announcers. No contest: Image Image

You would know the voices if you heard them. If you can't identify by mug shots (they're missing their numbers... ;-) ;) ) you can get your answer here.

I heard that LOTS in the ensuing days...WEEI loves to pick on that team.

I wonder if Beckett came out because his knee is bothering him again. He felt it tweak when warming up before the All Star game and pulled himself out of the game. So far this year he's been bothered by pain in the neck, knee, and back. IMO he's just a pain in the ass.....

Can we swap Katie Witham for Heidi Watney?

Why the hell would Acta give LaPorta the green light on a 3-0 count? That move perplexes me.

Bard is pitching the 8th and his nemesis A-Cab is due up

should take the lead here.

speaking of those 2, has anybody with inside knowledge heard when Lee and Hagadone may be called up to replace either of those 2.

Also I personally I would like to see both of them on the postseason roster if we faced the Skankees because I think it would be an advantage to throw out arms they have never seen before. We will need all the advantages we can get.
