I hate rain delays. I don't know what you get live on WTAM but the Tribe keeps recycling the same old rain delay clips I must have heard a half-dozen times. I flipped the MLB audio feed over to the WEEI feed (yup, THAT tired of the same old stories).

Looks like we have to wait longer, too. Joe Castiglione said that the field crew just ran in to cover the infield since the skies just opened up. Just as Beckett was ready to take warm-up tosses. Could be ANOTHER half hour.

Well first of all.... OK, I won't rip on them anymore. I've actually met some really nice natives. It's just the one's sporting Red Sux (or, God help me, skankees!) apparel. THEY are all jerks.

When I put Frantz it was the clip with Dennis Manoloff talking about which cap Thome will wear going into the HOF. Heard it at least 3 times...

WEATHER UPDATE: Beckett is getting ready to warm up again. Maybe 15 minutes or so. But for your pre-game entertainment I have an article from a local station that has an interview with the lady who got beaned by the ball. They have a clip embedded in it... In the pic at the top of the article you can see the marks the ball's stitching made in her knee! Nice little dot-dot-dot racing stripe. Sweet!
