But native Ohioans who were exiled to this cesspool are still cool, right? Image

These people up here think the entire world revolves around them (the natives - transplants that we've met while in exile are nice). I can't wait until we finally can move out of here back to normal, considerate people. (OK, rant over)

Man how many times have we hit the top of the wall this year. Also, how fucking unlucky are we that the ball takes the funniest bounce in the world and goes right to the right fielder. Unbelievable luck this season.

Why isn't there a yellow line along the top of the fence in Fenway like every other park in the country?

Bye bye scoreless streak for Bard. over a 2 month long streak.

And it was A-Cab who drove in that last run in May just like he has tonight.

Speaking of balls landing in the stands, did anyone see the clip of the New York fan who didn't see the ball coming and got absolutely drilled in the face? Had it been any other city, I might have felt bad.

I could tell it hit behind the wall but on the replay you could see the ball even tip the inside edge ofvthe wall on the way back into the field of play

For the record, I only hate Fenway's dimensions when the Red Sox are batting. The rest of the time, it's okay. (Considering they play 81 games there as opposed to the 6-10 tops that other teams do, I think that's a fair compromise.)

It's at bats like that that give me confidence that Carlos will turn into the player we expected him to be. His great Ee at the plate and his ability to foul away pitches gives me confidence. His defense however, is atrocious. That's for another time though.

Did he shorten up the swing with 2 strikes? I'm still waiting to see that although up by 2, late, I wouldn't have been too upset with the loooooong swing.

Because the indians are up?

Or, wait: are they discussing Derek Jeter? He hit a home run for his 3000th hit, in case you did not know that.

ESPN and my Guide on Time Warner says this game should be on .

If the game is also on STO, it's always blacked out on ESPN in STO's viewing area.

I'm from upstate NY though so I'm not sure why its not on.

Perez hasn't pitched for 5 days. I figure he will pitch in the 9th save situation or not.
