I still wonder what the asking price is for Ianetta.

Looks like Padres are being dicks. I hope ANT isn't about to add in more just for him.

*Coleman just made Donald look badly bad.

The guy whos reporting is backtracking now :hide:

It's times like this I hate Twitter for its immediacy. Sounds like the Indians just kicked the tires. It would make no sense unless Houston was eating almost all of his contract, and they're not going to do that.

Yeah, that's what happened last night when Kipnis was supposedly included in the trade. It was all over the place for a while. I almost miss the old days when you didn't hear about a trade at all until it was over.

I really think Fukudome needs to be higher up in the order, so long as you're putting marson, kearns and donald as the 7-9. Its just a waste of a baserunner

Carlos Guillen is a punk of the highest order for what he did after hitting that home run.

Haven't seen it. I don't think DET and ANA play again. Maybe somebody will bunt to break up Verlander's no hitter.

Yeah, this twitter shit is ridiculous. I do not have an account and am glad, but was getting the feeds off MLBRumors.com. Twitter is actually very annoying and people who do not provide a service and just tweet about their lives are clowns.

I still remember like it was yesterday waking up and reading the paper in a very small blurb about trading Joe Carter for Baerga, Alomar, and James. No tweets, no "let's go to Tim Kurkjian", and no rumors of any. Just done deals. I miss that, too.

What did he do

Hit home run. Stood at he plate for three seconds. Spiked bat. And stared at Weaver all the way down the baseline.

Weaver then went at Alex Avila's head and got tossed.

What did he do

Posed like wanker, wanked before starting his HR trot like a wanker, turned his body to face weaver like a wanker, ran round the bases like a complete dick and touched home plate (you guessed it) like a LeBron James sized wanker.

Weaver got ejected for throwing at the next Detroit wanker.

Yeah, I stupidly signed up for all these Twitter feeds on my phone so I can keep up to date with the deadline. Handy if I'm out of the house or doing chores, but it's a pain in the ass when it beeps every minute, usually with just someone "re-tweeting" (can't believe that's even a word) what somebody else just reported.

At 4:01, I'm going into major deleting mode.

Weaver had a much better reason to go for the head than Cookie Carrasco did.

Angels are gonna do everything they can to ruin Verlander's day.

Last Play: E. Aybar safe at first on pitcher J. Verlander's throwing error, E. Aybar to second

Did Aybar try to bunt?

Edit: Olney says yes.

Awesome.

I only follow about 40 bonafide reporters who aren't going to clog up the feed. Twitter is fantastic if you use it wisely. Unfortunately, it becomes more and more difficult to do it. But Bastian, Hoynes, Keith Law, Kevin Goldstein, Buster Olney...it's invaluable to follow those guys.

Ha!

Aybar bunts for a base hit to break up Verlander's no-no. It's a three-run game, so he's well in his rights, in my opinion.

I've got most of those guys. Castrovince and Tony, too. I stupidly followed Jon Heyman and Ken Rosenthal for about two days, but couldn't take it anymore. I don't know how those two have time to even wipe their asses with as often as they're posting badly-phrased "updates."

If either one of those posts something important, somebody I follow will retweet them. So it's a great filtration of the crap they throw out there. Rosenthal's are the worst. I've never seen anyone just throw stuff out there and call it reporting as much as he does.

No big deal.... if Jimenez passes his physical, McBride is easily replaceable in the deal.

He is, but I would not have let him come out to start the lineup the 4th time through. We have a good bullpen. This isn't like we have Toronto's pen.

He is, but I would not have let him come out to start the lineup the 4th time through. We have a good bullpen. This isn't like we have Toronto's pen.

Your concern has been validated. May as well let Fausto try to get out of it now.

And this season from Melky Cabrera is stunning. He was the worst player in baseball last season. Except for maybe Yunievsky Betancourt.
