Oh, and nice to see Donald get a start right away. Hopefully the team isn't crushed by the trade of O-Cab!

Wonder how Asdrubal took the news. Obviously a great trade for us, but I'm hoping it doesn't negatively affect him. No reason he really should let it get to him, but I suppose it's possible.

Droobs is a professional. I doubt it will effect his game. He's been around long enough to understand how the league works.

Agreed...I hope whatever it is that Uncle O-Cab "taught" him, it stays with him.

They're saying O-Cab didn't ask for a trade, but I do wonder what's been going on in the clubhouse with him since Kipnis got called up.

Everyone talks about him being a cancer, but Ive never seen any thing in the media about. So I probably missed something. I was loving me some orly in April while it lasted, but it was inevitable he would fail. His OBP is something like .274.....thats so horrible for somebody with no power I can hardly comprehend it. Not to mention his defense, bad base-running and contact skills are well below average, and have totally eroded.

my gawd, this lineup makes me want to just gouge my eyes out. absolutely vomitous with a capital ugh!!! where's hafner??? is he being traded today??? (tongue in cheek) hee-hee!!!

no but seriously though, i swear if santana makes an error at first base that causes the tribe to give up multiple unearned runs today, i think i might just have to rip out my spleen. ever since that one giants game in which he committed back-to-back errors leading to 3 giant runs (literally and figuratively) in a 4-3 defeat-snatched-out-of-the-jaws-of-victory, i just cringe every time i see the "1b" beside his name in the lineup. in fact, i think i just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Really rooting for Donald here. Even though he didn't put up great numbers last year, I liked the way he played...almost like a--dare I say it--grinder. ;-) ;)

Cabrera's looked like he hasn't given a shit for a week or more now. Been awful at the plate since the Break. Maybe this is the wake-up call he needs. He's THE leader now for this young IF. Time for him to step up.

Donald is going to hit at the major league level. IMO his upside is Mark DeRosa. Where he plays will depend on his defense and will ultimately determine his number of ABs.

But he can hit and will hit in my estimation. If he stays healthy he's an intriguing guy and I'd like to see him in the OF at some point.

I think we got a gift call at 2B there.

If not, that's an incredible play.

Very generous call on the DP..... AC was long past the 2B base bag before he picked the ball.

Shame to see Hannahan become irrelevant. Just can't hit. Seems like a good guy and is clearly a phenomenal fielder.

Austin Kearns SUCKS so badly that Ryan Ludwick's potential addition looks like we're adding Juan Gonzalez. God, I will NOT believe we are going to play contending baseball with him.

I predict Kearns takes his last at bat as an Indian in about 1.5 hours.

Santana costs us another run in the field by not paying attention and backing up the cutoff throw.

Either he is stupid, doesn't care, or is just a horrible defender at any position.

We're really gonna rely on Marson and Santana to get us to October. RIIIIGHT...

If I were the front office, I would take my chances with Choo being back soon and forget Ludwick. Go get Ianetta. His OBP and decent power trumps Marson's ability to throw out 50 percent of basestealers. And I am to the point where I do not want Santana playing c any longer. If anything, I hope he's our dh by 2013. Meanwhile, Marson is NOT going to be Alomar nor Victor...he can't even sniff Anus Diaz. He's like having Andy Allanson all over again...no stick, but can throw out Jesus.
