I know Alex Gordon is having a fine season, but if you'd told KC fans three years ago that he'd end up as their lead-off hitter they'd have been quite disappointed.

Well, when you have a guy they were comparing to George Brett and he's leading off, it's disappointing.

Edit: I shouldn't say he doesn't have enough power, but he was the top prospect in baseball and they were thinking 40 homers with him in the minors.
