I can't f***ing believe this. We patiently build up the farm system around guys like these, and them just piss them away in a year when we've had a losing record since May. We need these 3 for the next several years. Holy Christ, this is a disaster.

It's not a rumor. White and Pomeranz got scratched from their appearances today. Mark my words: it will be 5 years before this team can even contend. I can not even explain how pissed off I am about this move. This could be way worse than anything Shitpiro ever did.

Theres no way in hell they trade all 3 of those guys for just Ubaldo, barring him agreeing to some kind of contract extension here. More to the story. Chill.

Team hasn't confirmed any scratches yet, per Bastian on Twitter 30 seconds ago. Kipnis playing right now for the big league team.
No way they're giving up those 3 guys for just Jimenez.

I'm hoping they've offered up one of Pom or White and Rox haven't decided yet..... hence both being pulled.
Giving up both..... wouldn't like that move.... even if Keith Law thinks both Pom and White are relievers in the making.

Hell, we got a crappy return for Cliff Lee and CC, both reigning Cy Young winners, and Colorado gets half our damn farm system for someone who's best attribute is he's got a team-friendly (read: affordable) contract.

Here is some news about Pomeranz:
One note on Pomeranz: He signed Aug. 15, 2010, can't officially be traded until then. Doesn't mean he can't be in a deal, tho.
Meaning on Pomeranz, if he is in a deal, can't be traded until Aug. 15, 2011. But can be PTBN

I love this place.
No trades, melt.
Potential trade for a high caliber pitcher under control for two more years, melt.
And on top of it the melt is centered around a shitty report on MLB Trade Rumors about a player that is playing and won't be dealt.

Quoted for truth.
For 10 years the casual Indians fans whine that the Indians don't acquire premo talent. That Dolan is cheap. That Shapiro was a huckster at believing in prospects to remake the franchise.
Then they get bold and may acquire one of the best in baseball and it's a bitchfest.

I like the deal if Pom is the only blue chipper..... Pom and White though?! That's a lot to give up.
When it's confirmed, if it's White & PTBNL.... well, that's White and Pom (Pom can't be traded until a year after he signed).

The positive is that we would be getting a borderline stud starter who could possibly flourish even more outside of Coors and we have him for 2 more seasons.
The negative is giving up 2 potential front of the rotation types that aren't too far away from being ready. We are paying through the nose because Ubaldo has 2 more years on his contract.
