They are not the same guy at all.
Deal is meh and fine, but Hickson is an impact athlete at the very least, Casspi is a hustler and what not but he was pretty brutal last year.
Nothing worth being pissed off about, but the pick is being thrown into the deal for a reason.

Then you lived under a rock when he became the first Israeli born NBA player. Shit took over American sports reporting for a few days two years ago.

That said, expect Casspi to become a fan favorite, as blue collar a player as you will find. Always on the floor and always hustling. But ideally should be coming off the bench.

The first round pick acquired from Sacramento is lottery-protected in 2012 (1-14). The pick is then protected in 2013 (1-13), 2014 (1-12) and 2015-2017 (1-10). If the pick is not conveyed by 2017, then Sacramento will convey its own 2017 second round draft pick to the Cavaliers protected (56-60).

With AP and Omri, the Cavs are now by far the most popular team in Israel.
Would love to be there for the high stakes dreidel game for who gets #18.

Screw the late first round draft pick, I refuse to root for 'Da Jimmer'.
