Now that I know Kanter is actually center-sized and doesn't have bad knees, I'm much higher on him. Would still like to have a larger resume to work with, but he at least has the physical portion of things down. I don't know if the Jazz go Knight or Kanter. They have a crowded front-court already, and not much in the back, but who knows in this draft.
I'm still higher on Vala than most of the folks here too though. I think, especially with Irving running pick'n'rolls, that he is a great option (he scored or got fouled on something like 70% of pick and roll plays). He also looks to be a fantastic rebounder, having the highest rebound rate per minute in the Euroleague.
I don't know is he is/will be better than Kanter in the NBA, but I don't think he is a bad consolation prize by any stretch.
