This pitcher sucks statistically and we give him a six-pitch inning? WTH??? Come ON guys, make him work!!!

By the way, I have noticed that the game threads are not conforming to the standard format. Just in case anyone doesn't know the format, I will repeat it again for the umpteenth time.
mm/dd/yy tribe vs. opponent anything else you would like to add is fine just get the dang date correct. 5/30 could be any year and you never know when you might want to search a game thread by date and if there is no year then all heck breaks loose in the Hebner household.

One final thing, get offf my lawn! :pb: :tfh:

While its frustrating to see Carlos struggling so much, I still feel hes gonna bust out of this in a big way eventually. I feel much better watching him struggle than some of our other big time prospects such as Laporta an Marte. And this is for a few very solid reasons.

- He has the approach of a vet. You can tell he knows what hes doing at the dish. Has a real brain for the game( ala Victor). He struggling, yet he still almost always works the count and doesn't give away many at bats. This is pretty obvious, and backed up by his large amount of walks.

- He makes solid contact more often than not. If you watch he just seems to be missing the ball by the smallest amounts. He fouls a few balls off a game strait back(which is a big sign the batter just missed) This tells me hes just not picking up the ball well, which is something that happens to all hitters. Hes got all the tools, and the right attitude. Hes gonna come around eventually.

Funny because Manning wanted the slider. Fausto just didn't locate it. Had Bautista been up, that pitch is hit 600 feet.

Offense still giving the pitchers zero margin for error.

I don't understand how TOR can score runs so prolifically. Their lineup nightly is comprised of cast-offs and shit like Jayson Nix, Rajai Davis, Corey Patterson, Juan Rivera, John McDonald, Edwin Encarnacion. All these guys are fucking scrubs. Every one of them. Nobody wanted these assholes.

Poor Durbin's going to be left out there to dry until he throws 50-55 pitches.

I think Carmona is out of options..I believe his last one was used in 2009 when he was sent back to rookie league for a while. We have to keep sending him out there and hope he can get it done.

I like Cord Phelps as much as the next guy, but I can't remember too many of our position prospects that have not had to return to the minors after some time in the majors. Manny Ramirez comes to mind, but with all due respect to Phelps, he is no Manny Ramirez.
