While I agree in theory, taking back home court, they are just giving Miami too much confidence. IMO, Miami has proven they can nullify Rose, and with Haslem and a less bitch-like (or maybe Boozer just brings out the man in him) Bosh they are beating them inside.

Noah has to get a bit more under control with less silly fouls, Asik is hopefully able to go, and Thib's needs to keep Gibson on the floor for longer stretches. Very uphill at this point.

Hope you're right Lee. I know there's a dearth of Bynum-like post players that are physical, etc and that can reduce Bosh to the player he is, but I fear if he's getting involved offensively that Miami is such a tough out. And like you said, Miami plays ridiculous defense too.

Dirk has taken like 3 three pointers the entire OKC series. He operates solely from the post these days, not like he is playing out on the three point line. The Mavs took apart Pau, they can handle Bosh on D. And when Miami goes small Bosh gets to deal with Chandler beating him up.

Bosh is the farthest thing from concerning in that series. I’m far more concerned about Wade keeping Terry on the Bench more than the Mavs would like. Although Terry can’t guard anyone ever, he just outscores them.

Again, Troy Murphy had multiple 20 point games against Boozer. Currently in this series 60 of Bosh’s points have come in Boozer’s 92 minutes. 14 have come in the 52 minutes with Boozer on the bench. Bosh is scoring 31 points per 48 minutes against Boozer and 12 per 48 against the bench.

Boozer is n effin twat, no way around it.

The second Harden fell out. Scotty Brooks is pretty much Mike Brown on offense. It’s been broken down all over the interwebs at this point w/ video proof. The guy’s offense is terrible. Westbrook takes some dumb shots but pretty much any time there is actual motion and cutting in the gameplan (WAIT!!! THEY HAVE A GAMEPLAN!!!!) he makes the correct pass. Problem is that 9/10 they just end up standing around or setting really really shitty screens that do nothing. Brooks cannot win a title as a coach at this point. Seriously, the best play Brooks could draw up at the end of the game resulted in a cross court three point attempt from Sefolosha? WTF? Brooks and Mike Brown are like long lost brothers. Thunder just get away with the shitty O a lot because they have three legit guys that can score. Brooks is treating this team like they are the Mavs and just telling them to go play offense rather than running sets and its an extremely stupid approach to coaching a team of 23 and unders.

Another issue is Perk not being healthy yet. He can still bang with the big guys but Chandler is just too athletic for him. Next year he’ll most probably look a lot better, that is a BIG MAN to be coming off of an ACL surgery.

From a layman's perspective it was stunning. Not just from a being outscored standpoint, but from a complete and total melt down in terms of play on the court, expressions off the court and body language in both areas.

Lost. Utterly lost on the floor and it was almost physically hard to watch. Add in the fact that they actually did a lot of stuff right on the defensive end in terms of one-on-one matchups (not talking abou the decision to stay with Collison's one on one matchup). Collision was hanging on Dirk like a shirt with a hand in his face and it didn't matter.

Perfect storm of young team, ridiculously hot star and overwhelmed coach.

I am fine with Noah's deal, as defensive bigs that are as good as him (and that can consistently shut down LBJ on the switch) are damn hard to find. Considering that every useful and even non-useful big in the NBA is overpaid that's fine.

Boozer on the other hand is the result of trying to add a #2 as the last piece and being forced to grab the leftovers.
