1. Irving
2. Kemba because Minnesota is that braindead
3. Kanter because that's how Utah rolls, while Indiana makes angry faces and hopes Jimmer falls
4. Bismarck

Initial reaction:

CLE - Kyrie Irving
MIN - Brandon Knight
UTA - Derrick Williams
CLE - Kawhi Leonard

I'd prefer Leonard or Biyumbo, but I'd be OK with Kanter. I know nothing about the other internationals, and if it's Kemba I'll kick my dog.

I want Kyrie and Bismack.

I'll be happy with Kyrie and Kanter or Kyrie and Leonard.

Vesley or Vala with #4 and my apartment goes up in flames.

And it really could go down like this.

But christ D-Will and Beasley have a lot of overlap as players.

And they just took Wesley Johnson last year at the 3.

That #2 pick is 100% unfreaking predictable. The good thing is that Kahn showed his hand a few weeks early last year and probably will this year.

PS: not having to worry about Gilbert taking Kemba or Knight makes my so effing happy. Now I just have Vesley and Vala to worry about. Vesley being the 48% FT shooter that compares most to AK47 dumb ass Jay Bilas called a very good shooter tonight.

What would that price be? I don't think Minny has any contracts terrible enough for us to take and make it worth their while.

With this pick, their(Wolves) "small" lineup with Williams at the 4 will be nasty..

No doubt.

Or they could give up the Darko obsession and bring in Kanter.

I honestly just don't know.

But Love at the 5, Williams the 4, Beasely the 3, Johnson the 2 and Rubio the 1 is pretty interesting as a change of pace lineup. Although I still maintain the Rubio the most overrated anything ever.

I think there's zero suspense at the top. I'm told Cavs love Irving. Suspense begins at 2: Williams, Kanter, Biyombo, trade all possible

4 seems like a decent spot, could be the end of a 3 player mishmash where your decision is made for you.

I've probably seen him play four times and was only impressed during the '08 gold medal game. And I didn't catch him at all this year but reports are... uhm... not good.

Kahn, of course, claims Rubio's game was made for the NBA, not the Euro game!

Already hearing from sources that Minnesota has told people they're very open to moving No. 2 pick. Kahn wants veteran help ...

Okay, obviously Irving is 1, but I'm not really understanding why there's all the love for Kanter and hate for Valanciunas at 4. Kanter would be fine with me, but he's an 18 year-old who's already had issues with both knees and his back and hasn't played in two years. Valanciunas is reportedly taller, thinner, has a great work ethic, is the same age and has no health issues (although he does have contract issues). Why does everybody seem to love Kanter and hate Valanciunas?

Vala isn't athletic, isn't strong in the paint, isn't a great jump shooter, isn't really anything but tall.

He's useless.

Kanter has a refined post game, something vala will never have and his health problems have never been anything severe. Kanter also is far more physical in the paint than Vala, who is a fake ass pick and pop 7 footer.

And Bismack will kill them both in a knife fight, so he wins.

The injuries are the one thing I really don't like about Kanter. The one time I saw Kanter play, he showed a nice touch around the basket, and a good mid-range game.

I think Vala is too soft for the NBA. Of course I base this on reading stuff on the internet, but I also have heard his got to is a dive off the P&R, and that the move is very predictable and in the NBA he won't be as successful with it...

When you look at a hub for the BScott Princeton offense, you look for the jumper and low post game that Kanter offers

To a degree, Scott also has adapted his system over the years a lot. Partially because he has never coached an actual center and partially because he doesn't run the true Princeton O. And Kanter isn't a push the ball Center pace wise.

Tyson Chandler being the most recent perfect fit... I have heard good things about Kanter's passing ability, a huge part of being the hub. He is the most NBA ready, but his ceiling is also lower then a guy like Bismack.

You won't get an argument on the upside of Bismack.

Kanter vs Biyombo is a classic system issue to me. And I'm not sold on BO being an interior player unless he grows ( a luxury not allowed Sullinger. ;-) ) He seems more like a smarter smaller young Reign Man to me more than a big. But we have Khan stashed away developing in Europe, so it's all good. :hide:

In fact, you get me Irving & Biyombo I might actuallly get halfway excited to see what Skeyenga can do with the 3 of those kids running the floor together balls out every posession.

If you want a half court game, you take Kanter and his nicely developed offensive skill set.

Leonard is a wing player to me.

To a degree, Scott also has adapted his system over the years a lot. Partially because he has never coached an actual center and partially because he doesn't run the true Princeton O. And Kanter isn't a push the ball Center pace wise.

No doubt Kanter isn't a run the floor big man but he is the best option offensively in the half court. I think we would be able to have that run the floor guy with Andy..I will give Kanter credit though, he is more athletic than I thought and he can finish at the rim although that is not the elite part of his game.

See, I want to trade Andy tomorrow.

Need... more.... picks...

Also to suck again next year because Anthony Davis is whispering sweet nothings in my ear already.

Okay, thanks, I guess we've read different stuff about him. What I've read says he's the first guy in the gym for practice and the last guy out, has had success raising his free throw shooting percentage close to 90% this season, plays in the paint and finishes at the rim on picks and rolls effectively. Most recent comparison I saw was Noah.

I've only seen a few videos of him actually playing, though, so I'll defer.

I'm cool on the losing....Don't sign me up for that...but I can understand why the sweet whispers sound good.
