Don't see anything wrong given the confluence of the dates. The duty of sitting uncomfortably at the dias while Stern gives the order is for show. The resuls happen behind closed doors and an executive of the Cavaliers is attending that...

Is it stupid to me, to feel that Stern is going to "freezer" the cavs envelope to ensure that they don't get the 1st pick due to Gilberts actions last june?

Not to go conspiracy, just seems like it's not impossible at this moment.

Do I need to make it clear that I don't really give a shit who goes and I am glad he can use it to bring awareness to his child's situation. Cavs and Gilbert matching donations, good for them. I was just seeing who you all would send.

e0y prefers that they send Big Dawg Thompson and Dawgpound Mike. Those two make shit happen. Maybe they could threaten to protest the NBA on behalf of Cleveland unless we get Kyrie.

Having Joe pack everything up for a weekend in New York so he can wave at the camera for five minutes doesn't sound like something I'd want to put on a guy who's enjoying a well-earned retirement after said health problems.

Personally, I would've brought together Darius Miles, Desaguna Diop, Luke Jackson, and Chris Mihm to see if the combined force of suck could create a counter-vortex.
