The place to talk hockey. NHL banter, discussions on the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Lake Erie Monsters, and college hockey.

MegaBus has fares to Pittsburgh for $1.00 and the Pittsburgh stop is only a 15 minute walk from the arena.
There are no late return trips so you would have to get a room, or spend the night in The Rivers Casino (since our guv is fucking with ours). But you can make the Sunday matinee and be back in town in the evening.
Or you can check out PNC Field. Or go raise hell at the Browns Steelers game and have a designated driver back to town.
You can also get the $1.00 fare from downtown Akron.
Chicago is a $35.00 fare from Cleveland.
What do you mean Akron isn't in the same market as Cleveland? We're close enough to be fucked by it's sports curse.

Had I been selected for the lottery when the Indians played at Wrigley, I was going to Megabus to CHI with my fiance and two buddies for $1 a piece each way. It's just a matter of booking way in advance and away from holidays.
I'd rather pay $75 in gas to go to a Jackets game than a Pens game, but whatever. Still a nice deal for other reasons (gambling!).
A God Damn dead man would understand that if a minor league bus in any city took a real sharp right turn, a Zack McCalister would likely fall out. - Lead Pipe
