FMB on the 6 train

Unread postby motherscratcher » Tue May 10, 2011 5:25 pm

Here is some video that someone shot of FMB on the subway.

Better watch it quick. I cant imagine it'll be up for very long.

Our society is fucked. We've always had crazy people like that, but now more and more people just want to film and put up on YouTube then group up to just stop this nut. At least b4 his pants came off, after that its all on the police. Obvious once he is in shorts he isn't packing. :)

Telling if that police officer was there the whole time from that video is impossible. My comment is less on doing vs doing nothing then doing (stopping) vs filming/laughing/egging on. I can only speak for myself, but him "fucking that woman up" is exactly why I would try to get a group together to subdue him, which is what eventually happened at the end when they assisted the police officer.

Hell no. If I tackle that guy and crack his skull open, he sues me and I lose. Never. I would try and help someone if he was attacking them, but I would never try and stop him.

The cop was there, as soon a the pantys came off, he needed to be tased.

^Good point. Better wait till he starts beating on someone before stopping him. Would that get you less sued if he hits his head? Also is screaming racial epithets, banging on the doors, and wearing just boxers not enough of a reason to stop him... Just me but I still try, sue or not, IMO it is the right thing to do and with so many filming it you'd never lose.

I dont want to have to watch it again, O, but I thought maybe dude had to get past a cop just to get out of the train.

I'm also not quite sure at what point its even ok to take him out (as a citizen) UNTIL he went after the womans bag. This is a country where you get sued for a thief falling on a tripping hazard and breaking a leg while he's trying to rob you. In your own home.

I'm very glad that after that some citizens did jump in. That said, comments like "whats the world coming to" are so wildly romanticizing the past its not remotely realistic. The world simply has never been a place like you are implying IMO.

Either way, the cop was pathetic when he did get there, and should be reprimanded for that display. He's probably real good at writing parking tickets though.

You think you'd be in the clear for cracking this dudes skull on one of those subway poles tackling him for public intox?

I respect that you'd want to do the right thing here, so I'm not trying to be dick unnecessarily, but I think you get sued AND lose that case, and the video would work against you, not for you.

I ain't falling for that commie porn trick. Next thing you know you want to crush Imperialist pigs and their Yankee bluejeans. And then Valdimir Putin shows up at your house and poisons you with radiation.

Fuck that noise.

I'm not sure how you say "Free Malware" in Russian.

That's why everyone should carry guns.

If that was 1887 on the Wells Fargo Denever Coach, someone would be dead on the side of the road. They didn't tolerate no wonton public nudity. Or Indians.

Agree with the "golden age of my youth" arguement. Also agree its not an easy decision. One of those IMO type things. Probably right on about the officer too... However wack jobs like that typically take 2-3 average people/officers to subdue.

ETA
Also hear your point Erie and JCoz's second post. Hope to never actually be in that situation.
