He's a steal. He's gonna be good.

Schumer was on M&M this morning, discussing the trade down and Taylor. Now, of course Heckert is running the show, so take what Pat has to say with a grain or salt, but the first thing he mentioned was PT's ability to penetrate the line and get to teh QB. It was my understanding that he was more of a NT/DT type that took on double teams and occupied blockers. I havent read much about his pass rush ability. ANyone?

Sounds like the Browns might see him as a classic 3 technique guy in a 4-3, whose job is to get penetration on every snap and disrupt the play. Sacks are secondary. Chaos is job 1.

ETA the original 3 technique DT in the original Tampa 2 was Warren Sapp - who played at around 330. Just sayin'

Yes, this is unlike me. Yes, I am being optimistic. Yes, this is a departure from the norm. So sue me.
I don't need to be patient, they're going to be shit forever.

Every published article is discrediting the feet thing, Peeker. Draft rumors to drop him.

I was meh on the pick last night, I like it a lot more depending on how today goes.

Hope you're right about the feet thing. Sure sounds like a elaborate and long way to go to discredit someone in hopes they'll drop. Congenital foot issue where bones grow into each other?

They coulda said he smokes copious amounts of weed.

Hope it's all smoke (so to speak). If it is I really like the pick. It says a lot about what they hope to do and want to be and I know a few LBs have to be licking their chops this morning.

Not sure if it's been posted, but here's one sportsblogger who thinks Atlanta gave up way too much for a wide receiver, no matter how special he may be.

We've already got a guy named Carlton. Maybe we can convince Ira Hillary to come out of retirement.

Dude doesn't even look that much like uncle Phil to be honest with you.

Regarding the pick, can't argue with the approach too much, just gotta really hit on 3 of the 4 picks we added to make it all count IMO.

:SMH:

You're really too dumb to get the fact that our new nose guard is black, weighs about the same as uncle Phil and is name PHIL.

When in the fuck did nicknames solely revolve around looking like someone? When your prestigous mind decided as much?

I don't get it either. Uncle Phil was a legit 3 technique DT. More like Nick Fairly.

Not too mention uncle Phil was a highly motivated individual that flew the straight and narrow with virtually zero character flaws.

Seriously?

Your existense is enough of a bane on society that it annoys me. You don't even have to try, just keep breathing and holding back evolution and we're good.

We?

I thought all Browns fans were drunk, meat-head, mouth-breathers that can only understand a simple game like football. :-)

At this point in the conversation it has to be "The Judge" right?
