Best Frozen Food Microwavable Lunch?

Trying to cut down on always going out to eat to grab lunch. Wondering what some of the best $2/box type quick, microwavable lunch things you guys eat. If any. Seems like most of you will be the make more than you need for dinner and have lunch for the next day types, but in a pinch, what do you grab at the store for lunch?

In my best Jim Gaffigan voice " hot pockets".. I actually rarely eat any micro food but I do like Boston Market meals, turkey and mashed potatos, Bob Evans chicken and noodles, Stouffers lasagna or I just bring a PB&J

I can't remember the name, but there are these two-packs of microwave mini chicken patty sandwiches that are great for a quick bite. I dip 'em in Frank's Buffalo sauce I get them at Krogers, if that helps.

Bob Evans Biscuits and Gravy is good too.

I've been doing this a lot lately for various reasons -- money and trying to eat better at the top of the list. (Though I have many doubts toward the health of any processed frozen meals no matter what they say.)

Dave's Supermarkets had a lot of meals on sale recently. It's not any one brand I look for, but rather whatever is cheapest, and then try to pick the healthiest among them.

They had a number of Michelina's Lean Gourmet on sale for like $1.50 apiece. Stocked up on many varieties and enjoyed chicken and pasta-based ones the most. Portions were maybe a little bit smaller than I would have liked, but it's probably the proper portion you should eat. They were like 8½ ounces if I remember correctly.

I see a lot of Lean Cuisine in our work freezer, which makes sense as I work with many women and Women's Health rates their frozen meals as among the best:

Yeah the sliders are pretty good, i'm not a huge White Castle fan, but I like the fact they only take a minute. The boxes need to be bigger, I can eat a whole box in one sitting.

I've eaten the same lunch for almost 5 years. Lunch doesn't need to be gourmet, it's provides fuel to finish the day.

Taka 1/2 hour on Sundays and grill up a bunch of Italian sausage, hamburgers, etc and slap em on some buns w/ toppings?

Or fry up a pound of bacon and make BLTs for the week?

Or how bout a huge pot of pasta and serve throughout M-F?

Meatballs?

P/U good quality roast beef (Heinen's) and make sandwiches, pitas, etc?

None of this stuff takes more than a few minutes each morning to throw together w/ chips, pickles, etc

Saves ya a ton of money and it's not shit food

Will not eat microwave food. I only use a microwave to heat up stuff that is pretty much edible right from the can like Chunky soup. Not a real fan of boxed food either.

Cook up larger quantities of real food and go the left over route, IMO cheaper and still better food. Otherwise IMO you'd be better off going the route of meal replacement shakes and what not.

Can't rgue the preservatives. Salt content is probably better than ham.

Microwave dinners taste like shit flavored ass.

But if you have to eat one, Hungry Man is not too bad.

Back in my poor days of college (and I do mean poor, I know everyone in college thinks they are poor...I was poor. I had to eat a groundhog someone hit with their car in front of my apartment one time, that is how poor I was). Anyways, just buy a case of slim fast shakes. Drink one of the, you can have lunch for .75 cents.
