AHL Playoffs

Lake Erie gets home ice for finishing 2nd in their division. Conference quarterfinals start Saturday.

Saturday April 16: Noon
Sunday April 17: 3 pm
Tuesday April 19: in Manitoba
Thursday April 21: in Manitoba
*Friday April 22: in Manitoba
Sunday April 24: 4 pm
Tuesday April 26: 7 pm

2-3-2 format, so LEM is home for games 1, 2, 6, 7.

maybe it's just me, but can't get too excited about a minor-league hockey affiliate of a Denver-based organization. Maybe I'd feel differently if it was featuring future stars of ANY other city. BUT I will enjoy watching the Big Boy hockey playoffs this Spring

My Denver-hatred shouldn't have taken away from Cleveland pride. My Bad. Hope the Monsters can pull this thing off. Got the win over the Moose Tuesday, right? Home Ice is a beautiful thing.

Appreciate the olive branch. FWIW, I didn't delete your last post, I was just going to ignore it.

Anyway, the beauty of the Monsters for me is that I can go enjoy a hockey game without being seriously emotionally invested in it. Indians games? I swear up and down and almost take it personally. Monsters games, I can just watch a hockey game, analyze it, and enjoy.

I do pull for them, obviously. I hope they succeed.

Yeah, they won game 3 2-1, getting outshot terribly and killing all 8 Manitoba PPs. Since they won't win all three out there, it guarantees the series coming back home for at least Game 6 on Easter Sunday at 4.

Monsters heading back home to close this bad boy out on Easter Sunday (good day for a brawl). Give 'em hell, Adam. Let's avoid a game 7. Love playoff hockey!!

TCE hits the Lake Erie Monsters. They blow a 3-1 series lead, scoring 2 goals total over the final 3 games. Their season ends with a 4-1 loss.
