I just can't see the Heat making it out of round 2 unless someone is upset. Chicago, Orlando, and Boston all have just enough talent/length on the wings to contest, and all have enough muscle at the 4 and 5 to shrink the paint and beg for them to shoot from the outside. Mix in the fact I am an unabashed hater, and perhaps they don't get past Philly.

woohoo having a villain in the game does add a layer of excitement to a Clevelandless playoffs.

Depends on Iggy being healthy and if Turner can continue his much better play (putting up the same numbers in 5 less minutes since the break). I don't see Philly beating the Heat, but if Philly can do the right things (Thaddeus Young will be a huge X factor and has played well against the Heat this year) I think they can give the Heat a run.

Problem with Philly is who they have to give the ball to in that series. you're beating the Heat thru the point or on the blocks, not sending a rookie, and a guy who isn't 100% into a couple all-world playoff performers.

Chicago has that size, and that point guard. Not sure who beats them in the East, only shot right now is Miami thru the sheer greatness of a couple players. I don't see Boston getting it together in time. Hell, Jermaine O'neal's corpse is worse than Joel Anthony, and Green needs to lose the deer in headlight eyes - and quick. I also think they run Pierce ragged.

Lakers over the Bulls, unless the Heat gets in, then Heat over Lakers.

I generally believe that Charles Barkley is drunk on TV most (if not all of the time), but he has been pretty spot on with his playoff predictions. He picked the Mavs over the Lakers, the Griz over the Spurs and had the Griz beating OKC in the semis (although they did not win, who else gave them a shot?).
