Who do you guys see winning the East? the West? and taking home the title?
"It's all about winning for me, and I think the Cavs are committed to doing that," he said. "But at the same time I've given myself options to this point, and like I said before, me and my team, we have a game plan that we're going to execute, and we'll see what we get."

You're right. I meant Chicago over Orlando in the second round, my mistake. I guess I just really hate the Hawks for some reason to see them get beat twice in the playoffs, haha.

3 of the top 4 +/- guys in the league play for Miami. 5 of the top 18 play for the Lakers.

Obvious answer: Miami over LA.

Miami Heat is the answer to both.

They take out SA in the Finals.

I tell myself that too- but I know who'll be giving a shit when the Heat find themselves in an elimination game (me). Because they will.

Bulls vs. LA. LA wins, even after Bryant did the inexcusable act of the 21st century: hurt some people's feelings.

I just can't see the Heat making it out of round 2 unless someone is upset. Chicago, Orlando, and Boston all have just enough talent/length on the wings to contest, and all have enough muscle at the 4 and 5 to shrink the paint and beg for them to shoot from the outside. Mix in the fact I am an unabashed hater, and perhaps they don't get past Philly.

woohoo having a villain in the game does add a layer of excitement to a Clevelandless playoffs.

East:
Bulls over Indy
Magic over ATL
Celts over NYK
Miami over 6ers

West:
Spurs over Griz
OKC over Denver
Portland over Dallas
LAL over Hornets

East semis:
Bulls over Magic
Celtics over Heat

West Semis:
OKC over Spurs, but I reserve the right to change this if Manu makes a miraculous comeback
Portland over the Lakers - They've played really close all year, and between Camby, Batum, and Wallace they can defend the Lakers better than anyone else in the West.

Conference finals:
Bulls over Celts
OKC over Portland

Finals:
OKC over Bulls

Depends on Iggy being healthy and if Turner can continue his much better play (putting up the same numbers in 5 less minutes since the break). I don't see Philly beating the Heat, but if Philly can do the right things (Thaddeus Young will be a huge X factor and has played well against the Heat this year) I think they can give the Heat a run.

Problem with Philly is who they have to give the ball to in that series. you're beating the Heat thru the point or on the blocks, not sending a rookie, and a guy who isn't 100% into a couple all-world playoff performers.

Chicago has that size, and that point guard. Not sure who beats them in the East, only shot right now is Miami thru the sheer greatness of a couple players. I don't see Boston getting it together in time. Hell, Jermaine O'neal's corpse is worse than Joel Anthony, and Green needs to lose the deer in headlight eyes - and quick. I also think they run Pierce ragged.

Lakers over the Bulls, unless the Heat gets in, then Heat over Lakers.

I generally believe that Charles Barkley is drunk on TV most (if not all of the time), but he has been pretty spot on with his playoff predictions. He picked the Mavs over the Lakers, the Griz over the Spurs and had the Griz beating OKC in the semis (although they did not win, who else gave them a shot?).

Who does he have in the last 2 series?
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Preseason odds plus current odds

Looks like odds were made b4 The Decision as Mia was 25/1 and Cleveland was 8-1

Me against the field for the title, and I'm probably the only one not rooting against his pick at this point.
