I think maybe the best time to keep LBJ and his posse of psuedo semi-suburban, never seen an actual ghetto or had to fight their way outta one gangstas from running amok would have been when he was under contract here. But TMLP brushed off Danny Ferry and fired Paul Silas who was set to pound some scruples and respect into 23 when he saw what a douche bag the kid was and the road he was traveling.

TMLP going all Norma Rae now just reeks of bitterness and pettiness.

Hindsight is always 20/20. That horse had left the barn well before Gilbert signed on the dotted line. The race to ensure that the 'King' would stay here and not bolt for a bigger market started the day Jim Paxson walked away with the ping pong ball. TMLP certainly didn't help the situation any, but between Gloria, Wes, ESPN, Nike, and all the other sponsors, that was a fight nobody in Cleveland was going to win. As we're finding out, maybe not even in Miami either. Not right now, at least.
