Duke-Arizona
I wonder if all those people who picked Ohio St. to win it all considered the fact that Kyree Irving would be playing for the Dukies? I sure didn't and despite a close call to the Wolverines, the Blue Devils have to be considered a very close second choice to cut down the nets in Houston. This team has a 3 headed monster in Nolan Smith, Kyle Singler, and Irving. The streak shooting Seth Curry and the Plumlee twins down low round out a solid squad that understands the pressure that comes with the NCAA tournament. And there is no better leader on the sidelines to have a team focused than Coach K.
Who is the best player in the tournament? Jimmer? Kemba? Nope, my money is on DK. That stands for man child Derek Williams who has led this young group of Wildcats into the Sweet 16. If you haven't seen him play, pay close attention. Built like a brick house, with super quickness, and a pure outside shooting stroke. Oh and he is 6'11''. Attention Cleveland Cavaliers, here is the guy you want in the lottery. He is probably the most "NBA ready" player in college basketball. As for this matchup, I don't think Arizona will be able to hang with the Dukies. If role players Kyle Fogg and Solomon Hill show up big, Arizona can put a scare into the Blue Devils but I just see too much depth by the Dukies and Kyle Singler is due for a breakout game.
