This Weekend's Tourney Games at The Q

Insanity what the NCAA did.

Games at 2:20, Buckeyes at 5:00. Gotta get 20,000 people out of the Q after the Buckeye game (which will end at 7:00 at the earliest), then back in for a 7:27 start for the first night game.

11 hours of basketball. No alcohol. No break in between games.

Right now, I'm hoping Mason/Nova goes into triple OT and the Bucks don't start until 5:30...

Networks don't want games going after midnight??? Yet MLB's biggest games in October can? What about all the Pacific games throughout the year???

Games shoulda started @ noon, who cares if they overlap? Everyone's got multiple screens nowadays...

Fans & local bars/restaurants got royally screwed here...

best matchup of the day is Xavier/Marquette, we'll probably get seated by halftime

The Q and it's staff are slaves to the NCAA and the four networks covering the tournament. TV $$$ mean much more than the coin the average fan wants to spend to see the games in person. Sad really

Anyway, a great experience at the Q yesterday. Loved watching all the different schools' fans come in wearing their respective gear. Great atmosphere as Cleveland represented with virtually no empty seats and then making it a home game for the bucks.

Highlights, outside the actual games. The GMU band was more entertaining than the game (up until the end) with their pimped out band director complete with all-yellow suit with sunglasses and septor. The ISU fans thought they got hosed on every single call. Thought those poor bastards were going to riot.
