No Longer Contenders in Columbus?

Excuse my language but a team like the Jackets has got to be Fucked in the Head to be as bad at the Power Play , and more importantly penalty Shot/Shoot out, as they are.

I'm still trying to figure out why Tyutin goes over Calvert.

If your commenting on the Shoot Out I agree.
Calvert has earned the spot.

Why the fuck is Fedor Tyutin on the SO?

Are you fucking kidding me?

There are 4-5 OTHER GUYS I WOULD RATHER HAVE OUT THERE.

I'd rather have the corpse of Nikkolai Zherdev out there.

I don't think in 10 years that the CBj have ever finished in the top 15 on the PP.

Too bad they're 9 points out of being a lottery team.

Everyone's beloved captain has gone 10 straight without a goal.

Just looking at their draft record, it's really hard to compete with that group. And as much as I like them, Brassard and Voracek are not living up to their top 10 billing. Granted, the '07 draft with Voracek was terrible.

How they missed so badly in the '03 Draft, I may never know.

Shame they took Brule over Kopitar in the '05 draft. Kopitar'd look good next to Nash.

Didn't feel like starting another thread, but felt it worth mentioning the Jackets just signed Cam Atkinson to a 2 year deal. He will begin play in Springfield next season.

Finally got a chance to get a firsthand look at the Sedins yesterday, sitting way up in 203. Amazing to watch them from that high up so you can see everything they're doing. My one critique would be that Vancouver tries way too many blind passes. Someone's going to step in, pick one of those off, and score a critical goal on them in the playoffs.

Got the chance to go down to the event level after the game. Several guys graciously signed, including Umberger, Voracek, Brassard, Huselius and some others. Nash and Mason must have went out a different exit. Umberger looked thoroughly beaten down. He was the only one who showed effort yesterday again.

The locker room needs a complete overhaul.

Is it just me or do the Jackets sign/draft more players from the NCAA ranks than any other organization...
