Baron has great court vision. Eyenga's time in the gym is showing. When he plays without thinking he plays really well.

Erden is very active, when Andy comes back that is a lot of energy. It will mean a lot of second chance points.

Another game for the Heat with no double digit rebounder. They get abused by big men on the glass.

By the way, they chase and trap because they don't have good on the ball defenders or anyone to funnel to. Lebron and Wade are good in the passing lanes and really good help defenders around the rim. If they had a defensive anchor they could show and funnel.

Lebron trying to draw the foul instead of truly attacking the rim is becoming the norm for him. Wade needs to take control of his team again.

So happy that the Cavs have become watchable/interesting. That Knicks game was great, hopefully a sign of things to come.

Time to pick new favorite players. My early infatuation is with Samardo Samuels.

Go freaking Cavs.

I finally figured out who Samardo reminds me of.......Rick Mahorn. Every team needs one.

I agree. I haven't been asking for much. I know what they are working with. Play hard and compete. That streak when they were getting beat badly by bad teams was BS.

Sessions really is bad on "D". He is horrible on ball and is lazy off the ball.

When you have no dominant player, making and missing shots become contagious. When they are falling everyone looks solid. When they aren't it looks more like the D-League.

Yeah, we're sorting through a nice developing supporting cast, but the difference between lotto and playoffs means finding an alpha dog of our own. Baron's nice but he ain't it.

Didn't see the game but checking the box I saw Erden got five offensive boards in only 11 minutes in his first game as a Cav. Does it look like he has a knack for getting to the glass, or were those garbage rebounds after Okafor went for the block and didn't get it?

Our starting 2 and 3 (Parker and Gee) combined to go 6-for-17 from the field. Ugh. It's clear LeBron and Mo don't play here anymore.

Still, they were tied up until the Paul injury against a winning team. Considering they were playing without AV, Jamison, and Boobie it looks like they've taken a step up from the 26 consecutive loss team. Looks like I'll be signing up for that NBA Season Pass next year.

They played hard last night.

Not well, but hard. Especially when it was a game. There's simply an enormous talent gulf and certain guys only play hard on certain nights for no rhyme or reason.

I did watch JJ try 4 times to shoot off a bounce. One was a step back off the dribble.

He missed all four from at least 18 feet.

Dumber than a door knob. That's always going to be an issue.

AC's comment after the second in a row, I believe the step back dance off the dribble fade, was classic.

I noticed Okafor had four blocks. Was JJ intimidated to go inside against him and decided to try and knock down some 18-footers instead?
