Diebler on Fire

Unread postby Squints » Tue Mar 01, 2011 11:23 pm

Not that he hasn't gotten hot before, but he's 7-8 on three pointers (7-8 from the field) as the Bucks are ripping State Penn right now in another "White Out" attempt. This team is fun to watch when they are running on all cylinders.

#1- Welcome back. Damn, I was trying to catch up to you in total posts :lmfao:

2#- For Dan and David any talk of his pro potential?- an off the bench sharp shooter a la Craig Hodges or Steve Kerr, more recently a Jason Kapono/Kyle Korver type. Irregardless, he's come a long way in 4 years, much respect.

I remember watching him play CSU as a fresh @ the Q and it looked like he was shooting into a dixie cup

I watched from the Q that day too and I remember thinking that he should have kept his commitment to Valpo to play with his brother.

What are the chances that we see as many as 4 Buckeyes get drafted this year? Sullinger and Buford for sure if they come out, but Lighty and Deibler have to have a chance in the 2nd round as well.

Both guys have a skill that could keep them on the end of an NBA bench (Lighty's defense and Deibler's shooting).

Sully & Buford absolutely, Lighty likely...

IMO, Diebler probably needs to keep up that kind of hot shooting throughout the tourney to be drafted, but should be invited to a camp...

When Diebs gets them 4-5 treys a night, they seem pretty unstoppable

Buford is a "Trending Prospect" at DraftExpress:

I agree. Buford can get his own shot, Lighty can create, Sullinger gets his. But when we find a way to get open looks for Deibler, we're a completely different team.

I'm having nearly as much fun watching Craft shut off Taylor's water.

Would love for the Bucks to settle this shit and crush them on a neutral court in the Big Ten final.

17 out of 20 over two games? Are you shittin' me?

Somebody tweets in the second half today..."There's unconscious, and then there's where Diebler is"

Nine in a row one day, seven in a row later that week.

Two team NCAA records in one game. This might not end well, but it's a fun ride.

Best part about Diebler catching fire was it gave Gus Johnson something to be fired up about in a blowout.

That was a fun game, student section was crazy, Buckeyes dropping 3 from all over the court, and they just run the Badgers right out of the gym.
