Just informed Cavs have joined bidding for Corey Brewer. How could 11-48 Cavs be a factor? They have nearly $3.7 mil of their midlevel left

I am all for the Cavs adding any young pieces that they can. Brewer wouldnt be a bad addition. However, Im doubting he will join the NBAs worst team when he will probably have offers to join contenders. If they can pull it off, then Id say go for it. Adding a 23 year old 6'9" forward with some decent talent/potential sounds good to me.

No worries. Corey Brewer isn't going to help rebuild this team. The Cavs need a nucleus. They can worry about complementary pieces later.

That's all Brewer is. He may be 23, but his ceiling is as a decent complementary piece. Unfortunately, the Cavs don't have anything for Brewer to complement at the moment.
