Just wondered what Peterson's (CB) 40 time was.

4.33 for Chekwa. Fastest of all CBs and running through all drills with a cast on his wrist.

Yep very impressive as have been tOSU DB's performances in the pros .

Dowling ran a 4.40 despite pulling up lame with a hammy with five yards to go .

lots of sub 4.5 times which means guys are doing better preparing for these drills .

surprisingly Deon is very high on a kid from Idaho at 5'11 1/2" and 219 lbs ran a 4.7 . but Deon dismissed it says the guy really moves .

Maybe we can snag a cheap twin to pair up with Ward.

Big as a linebacker with world Class speed .

Kid right behind him ran a 4.29 after a false start in which Deion predicted he'd Smoke it after seeing just his first step .

Should be able to find some corner and safety help in this class , because they're two dozen guys burning up the track at Indy.

I am not sold on Amukamara as an elite NFL cover corner. Not close to Peterson (or Haden), IMO.

Torrence had a really disappointing 4.65 from what I heard. That's a ticket to the CFL.

Chekwa was blazing fast. Now...about those coverage skills....

Amukamara looked a little too jacked too me. He is such a stocky kid, and he looks stiff coming out of breaks. The kid from Miami, Harris, looked good. Didn't see the second group. Hill, the S from Florida, looked like shit.

One other thing...tOSU kids always perform well at the combine (save Clarrett). This year is no exception. Not sure if JT uses this in recruiting, but he should.

Peterson is the best player in the draft. If, by sone way, some how, he is there at 6...he's the pick. Don't even let Goodell leave the podium.

Having two top flight CBs in a pass happy league would be step in the right direction, for once.

Agree, but it will be a miracle if he drops that far. CBSSportsline and Kiper now have him #1 overall. Considering he'd make a hell of a safety if he's too big to play corner, he's probably the safest pick in the draft. The kick return skills are a bonus. If I were the Panthers I'd take this guy before gambling on Cam "The Icon and Entertainer" Newton.

Not only did Buster kick ass on the shuttle, cones, and 60-yard dash, but he has one of the great names in this year's draft. I never heard of him but I want the Browns to draft him based on his name alone.

Hell, I didn't even know there was a college in Chatanooga.

I checked with CBSSports and they project him as a 5th rounder. Works for me. Here's the write-up.

He's pretty short but you have to love his change-of-direction skills. He'd be good to match up with those pesky little slot receivers like Welker. Nobody would get behind him with that 60-yard dash time. He's also a leader (team co-captain) and he benches 360. I wonder why he isn't ranked a little higher. Maybe his Combine numbers will bump him up a round.

Might help ya to know King suckered him into commenting on where he saw himself in marketing outside of football , and it gets prented up like he was arrogantly proclaiming himself to the NFL like a Jackoff.

Dude apologized to all who took it that way on NFLN, and warmed Mayock over, his biggest detractor , telling any fuck head who was paying attention the crap about the combine was just that crap , the arm is there and the misses were five step and seven step drop related to his footwork and throwing to spots instead of targeting the receivers.

Stuff easily addressed with reps and more reps.
