There will definitely be good options in round 2 for DL help, as with the WR position. Deep year for two areas Browns need help.

Watt was a sub 4.80? Good Lord. That's just ridiculous. 6'6" 292lbs? No wonder concussions are up.

With that motor? (non-racial stereotype intended) Seriously?
Does that put him in our range yet? Rather take a shot at that over Quinn's "issues'.

After Watching him play this year the way he did, along with being backed up by some very impressive physical numbers, I have to say he gets more intriguing by the day.

As good as he's looked, there's probably no way he forces his way into the top 6. There's also no way that he lasts into the second round either, so probably not much of an option for the Browns.
Of course there's always the possibility that we could trade down, but I don't think the Browns would want to trade for future picks too much with this draft so loaded. The only team with 2 firsts is NE, but it would be out of character for Hoodie to want to trade up and give up picks.
I just don't see how it could happen.
I guess there's the possibility of trading down for another teams second, or maybe next years first.

I had the same thoughts while writing that, but I can't help but wonder if all that, which I agree with you on, is just talking yourself out of the right player based on preconceived notions of who is "deserved" of a selection that high.
Vs Peterson? Hell no
Vs Darious? Don't think so...
Vs Bowers, Quinn, Fairley? This I'm not so sure of. I'm beginning to wonder that Watt might not end up better than these 3.
But your "supposed" to like the dominant/speed edge rusher and disruptive DT over a SSDE.
IMO, lots of valid questions surrounding those 3 guys, and I'll be forthright in that I have simply never been high on Bowers or Quinn.
Would you be "reaching" for Watt? Maybe.
Doesn't necessarily preclude him from being the right pick in the long run.
Just thinking here, nothing definitive.

I know all that stuff about Bowers and Quinn - I still don't feel like they will live up to expectations.
I would not chose JJ over Dareus.

Gotta go with the 2 interrior guys tops, then it gets murkey. Quinn has major character issues, Bowers knee isn't healing right per espn today, and I don't care what nayone says, JJ is no Chris Long. At 290 he'd be a great LDE propsect 4 - 3 or 3 - 4 .
