Good piece here from a couple days ago that lays out the Jackets top 20 prospects with nice writeups for each.

Tripods showed me this, and now I show you.

BEHOLD! The face bashing style of Kyle Neuber.

Saw Johansen at the Jackets rookie camp this year and he looked rough. I'm thinking he was trying way too hard and putting pressure on himself. Seeing him in the World Juniors, he's exactly what this team needs. Quite frankly, he's a lot like Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks. Very talented kid, not afraid to play a physical game, and has the chance to morph in to a leader.

John Moore is one of the smoothest skaters you will ever see. Kid oozes hockey IQ. They need a PP quarterback and he should be the guy.

Calvert's a real spark plug. Martin St. Louis mold but not as skilled. I like him.

Good buddy played with Madaisky growing up in Surrey, BC. Good friend of his is Madaisky's best friend. He's done for this season with a broken bone in his leg, but I've heard nothing but good things. Might be a dark horse as a bottom pairing guy in a few years.

Filatov still at #2.

They need to either shit or get off the pot with him.

I'm tired of these no account Russians sucking up money.

He'll be traded at this year's deadline. Not a fact, but my honest intuition. They don't have too many movable pieces, but he is certainly one of them. Howson will want to keep draft picks (I don't blame him), but Filatov is expendable.

He fits the mold of a team like Ottawa who is going to rebuild and wants a dynamic, young winger to go with Jason Spezza. Someone like a Chris Phillips could come back to Columbus. Big left-handed defenseman, good partner for a guy like Stralman who likes to jump up in the play. UFA at season's end.

Maybe a team like Florida for Cory Stillman. Stillman has tons of playoff experience, is a very consistent player, and again, a free agent at season's end.

If they can find a team to give them an impending UFA and a 2nd/3rd round pick for Filatov, I'm thinking they do it. Assuming they're in the playoff hunt in 2 weeks. If not, Filatov gets another chance next year.

Aportzline Aaron Portzline
A firesale is off and running in Ottawa. Despite #CBJ needs, I don't think Jackets have much interested in Sens D Chris Phillips.

Well, and to think, I thought I was going to predict the future.
