One loss away from the worst game in NBA history as CavsTribe07' noted a week or so ago.

This would be epic to see a team on a 27 game bender hosting a team on a 25 game road losing streak. I'd suggest a really horrific ABC broadcast team do the game but Fred and AC are worse than anything else out there.

If they were a disease they'd be penile warts.

I want this badly Sunday. Not penile warts, but for the Cavs have to get past the Clips tonight and by 'get past' I mean get rolled.

Need a big night from Blake Griffin who, all Cavs ball-busting aside, will be fun as hell to watch.

Don't fuck this up for us Cavs. You get past this and the eminently movable object meets the eminently resistible force on Sunday.

C'mon Cavs...gotta make it happen...c'mon Cavs!!

I have to speculate that the losing streak and the weather are the only rational explanations for that.

And I think e0y sent me that link in an email. I'm still struggling to find any reason for those ratings other than what I noted above.

They have a chance to set a record every time they take the floor as long as they don't mess it up and win. That's worth watching. :thumb up:

Horrible start for the Cavs if they're to meet their true destiny Sunday against Wizards.

They were up 5 for a second.

Thankfully JJ stated hoisting up 18 foot fall-aways and the Clips reclaimed the lead.

That was close.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha I just watched Sessions go pick-and-roll with Hickson. Well thats what Fred told me even though it was obviously a pick-and-pop Not even a CYO team respects Hickson on that play.

After that I promptly watch Hickson get called for 3 seconds on a made Parker 3. Then he non chalantly lets the ball roll around and gets caught in a jump ball with Griffin. He losses. He sucks. I hate him.

Saw the game live. I'm beginning to believe half his fuck-ups could be solved by simply getting someone else other than Ramon "Rick Vaughn" Sessions running the point.

JJ is pretty impressive when he's on his game, the team desperately needed Mo back, Boobie is the money man, Ryan Hollins is a modern miracle in how a 7' center can only land 3 boards when JJ is yoinking something like 15, Byron Scott's defensive plan is to give the opposing shooters more cushion than a Serta mattress, and that Griffin kid is pretty good even if the rest of his cast is positively Paxsonian. I don't care how dumb JJ is or if he catches passes like he's playing soccer. If he has lines like this:

JJ: 27 pts, 14 rebounds, 4 blocks
Griffin: 32 pts, 13 boards, 0 blocks

then I'm OK with him. The 7 turnovers will kill us against a decent team, so that has to improve.

Hollins - 5 fouls in 16 minutes. Are you kidding me? Tell me at least two of them were deliberate. This guy can't get out of his own way.

Mo - 31 minutes, 18 shots and 14 assists. Were they even guarding him?

Extremely entertaining thread, even if I didn't get some of the early references.

IMO a couple wins like this won't affect the quality of the draft pick (wherever, and however good it was going to be).

And they pump up trade value of some of these guys. In the meantime, the fans get excited- there's value there. And the cult status of a guy like JJ is fun.

JJ's blocks are in the highlight video of the game on the CBS Sports site.

Hey, heard Joe Tait on TAM Fri morning, being interviewed. Didn't sound all the way back to normal, but he had some of his feistiness. Targeting his return sometime in March.

EDIT: I don't get to watch a lot of Cav games. Can someone compare the dumbness of JJ to the dumbness of Drew Gooden? Thanks in advance.
