You should have seen the look on my sons' faces the first winter back in PA after 11 yrs in Vegas when I woke them up at 6 AM to help shovel the driveway. They were in 8th, 9th and 12th grade at the time

Neither do I, I hate when fries get soggy, typically just salt and ketchup (interesting with the horseradish, have never seen that).

I'm like CDT I don't care for fancy fries, must have something to do with being German. I fret more over the style of fry, I like fresh hancut, steak and wafer fries the best, gotta be hot, little salt and some ketchup and occassionally vinegar. 5 guys has pretty good fries IMO.

I am glad they revised some of this stuff. The Jamie Oliver show was really eye opening (ie. Hamburger Bun had to be added to a meal of grilled chicken, rice and vegetables to meet the starch requirement). However I have little confidence any susbstantive change will be made from a federal level. This is a local issue that needs to be handled as such. I think slowly this is starting to be come more of an issue at local levels, I know around here in hippieville it is. None of this is going to work by forcing Lunch lady Flo from changing her ways that she has established over 30 years. It is going to require parents to overhaul the system in their schools and turn the entire system on its head.

Edit: Fuck I brought it back on topic. I prefer Tater Tots to fries any day. Chicago is the only city that regularly has them on the menu.
