The only karma I see coming is another headband and jersey flung into the Orlando or Boston stands.

I just lost about 100 brain cells in reading the comments to that article. Are there really that many people lodged up LeDouche's ass?

"Maybe he didn't mean it that way?" My ass, he didn't. He knew exactly what he said and how it would be perceived. What are the odds he DIDN'T mean it exactly that way directly after the Cavs were destroyed last night? Come on, man.

So it turns out he was just retweeting what someone else had sent HIM, and it was just a crazy coincidence it happened during that Cavs game:

now RuPaul hurt his ankle and is upset the way it happened...

CHICAGO -- Miami Heat power forward Chris Bosh left the United Center limping and upset Saturday night. Not so much at the pain in his left ankle as how it got there.

Bosh sprained the ankle in the Heat's 99-96 loss to the Bulls when Chicago rookie center Omer Asik fell on his leg chasing a loose ball at the end of the third quarter. Bosh was going after the rolling ball when Asik dove to the floor, collapsing Bosh's lower leg.

Bosh

X-rays were negative but Bosh missed the fourth quarter and may have an MRI in the next few days in Miami to determine the extent of the injury. The initial prognosis is that it wasn't a severe sprain.

"C'mon, that is how guys get hurt, that is how serious injuries happen," Bosh said.

"You've got to watch people's legs. I know guys want to hustle and everything but we all want to play and provide for our families and have a job."

Maybe if Bosh showed the same type of hustle, he'd have avoided injury. I guess the Heat players figure they deserve everything, including loose balls.

I do feel bad for Bosh in that respect. I've been meaning to set up some sort of foundation to guys like him and Spree so they don't have to worry about trying to make ends meet.

When the lockout comes, the players are doomed.

I find it reprehensible that people are taking delight in the struggles of the Heat. :lmfao:

Funniest thing for me is that of the three guys most critical to the Heat, might be Bosh. Without him, they have none post players. Joel Anthony and Z aren't going to be problematic for anyone to defend. Until/IF Haslem comes back, I still don't think they have enough to win it all. Darn.

^ Heat aren't going to win it all when LBJ is back in Cavs mode and chucking up off balance 3 pointers trying to tie/win a game rather than drive to the basket for an and 1 or foul shots. Not going to win when he takes all the important shots and leaves Wade out on the wing as a decoy (as he did the other night V Atl)

They just won like 21 of 23. NBA teams go in spurts.

Don't whistle in the graveyard. It'll just make June worse. The Heat is a bona fide contender.

Never said they weren't a contender but they have a lot of issues still that I don't think can be ironed out by May/June. Miller isn't what he was expected/anticipated to be. No depth and I find it hard to believe that anyone in the NBA will trade w/ Miami to get them help down low. Stranger things have happened but I don't know what Miami has to offer to other teams to get bench help. Pat and the gang will most likely have to ride it out with the team they have this season, which I don't think can get it done.

How glorious would it be if the NBA goes hard cap with no more exeptions and, with no draft picks until around 2034, the Heat have absolutely no way to add anyone to the team. Unless they break up the unholy trinity that is.

And of those 21 wins, the only quality teams they beat were, what, Utah and a Laker team already on cruise control? I'm pretty sure I've seen this show the past two seasons, only the jerseys were in wine and gold.

Absolutely zero depth after the first three guys on the roster. Front court consisting of LeQuit, a seven foot vagina, potentially gimpy Haslem, and a bunch of stiffs. Primary ball handler treats the offense as one on five when the defense tightens up. They'll win their fair share of regular season and playoff games, but true contender?

I'm with Sugarbear. A couple of solid drafts and/or mid-level acquisitons and you're there. Not now though. Any team with a real front court will eat their lunch come May.

There are eight teams that can win it all.

Lakers, Mavericks, Spurs, Jazz in the West.

Celtics, Orlando, Chicago and the Heat in the East.

Problem is there isn't a one of those teams without faults, save perhaps the Celtics, if they are healthy, which I guess a higher chance of not being healthy could be considered their fault.

The Heat has a number of problems, but at the end of the day, D Wade and Lebron have been fantastic post season players (save one which he quit) so, I'm not so sure I'd be drop dead shocked if they won.

Sure, the money's on the field here.....but all I'm sayin' is what I've been sayin' all year, if you spend a lot of time and effort rooting for bad things to happen to the Heat, you may be disappointed.

Assholes win Championships all the time.

Lastly, Kobe ain't lyin' in the weeds ILO. That is NOT the same player of past years.

Right. Not sayin they WILL win, or are even favorites. But to suggest they are a long shot thru a lens splashed with hatoraid? Not there.

So where we at in the official supporting cast winning % w/o LBJ? Miami is at 0 while Cle is around 25?

...and Miami, err that supporting cast doesn't have a whole lot of room to lose many more games if they want to reach the 63 that the Cavs averaged over the past 2 seasons.

Just syain of course.

I think what can be culled from perusing the Heat and Cavalier 2010/2011 campaigns is; Lebron was the whole team here, Lebron, Wade and Bosh are the whole team there. Resulting in an accurate inference that both teams supporting casts blow.

I think if you played the Cavs vs. the Heat minus those three you'd get a battle that nobody has the stomach nor interest to see the final score.

You thinking 2010 Cavs-LeBron>2011 Heat-LeBron?

Nope, not even close bud.

My point is as it has been through this season long back n forth comparing Cavs B.C. to Cavs A.D., which is you cannot compare them b/c it is completely disingenuous to do so due to the fact that A) the team postmortem isn't even close to being the same, B) 99% of the roster prior to TDHL were assembled to be a supporting cast, and nothing more.

The Heat, as we know them right now, have a large number of supporting cast only types, however they have 1.68975 superstars on the team even if you take LeBro off of it. They'd be considered a sure fire playoff team without fuckface and might even have a slight chance to contend if Superman Jr. felt up to it for the 78 days of NBA post season.

It all goes back to the point that nobody can admit the "supporting" cast of 08-10 wasn't all that bad in context, and the fact that the Dwayne Wade Miami Heat with the addition of LeBosh are most likely not even going to win as many games as the God awful yet consensus favored to win it all Cavaliers of the past two seasons.

The supporting cast was every bit as bad as I have been saying.

10-72 bad? Nope. Injuries have made them even worse. 22-60 bad? Yep. Maybe 27 win bad? Yep.

And that is the reason we no longer have the best player in the league.

Not sure how this isn't pretty clear. And easy to figure out.

Again, as I say on this site, I'm fine with letting it play out, that is, I suppose we can wait for a few members of the cast of '08-'10 to start playing well - anytime...anywhere.

There's reason, for example, Carlos Arroyo couldn't shoot a pebble in a lake in past years, and he's shooting it well now.

No magic dust, no Mike Brown secretly was Red Auerbach, no half assed year from Shaq or half year from bat shit crazy Delonte.

Just the best passer in the league, that opened up entire sides of the floor to open shots and offensive rebounds. the one guy that could get his own shot.

If you have one guy that can get his own shot, who is also the guy that creates everyone else's shot - most wide open, and pretty much the best player in the league.....well, that guy leaves and you're up the shit crick.

Again, asshole quitter shit aside...that's the difference. Unless again, you can locate the ex/current Cav that is making any type of ripple in the league. Hell, how many guys that played key minutes during Lebron's tenure aren't even smelling the league right now?

Injuries aside, EVERY PLAYER ON THE CAVS WAS HAVING A WORSE YEAR THAN LAST. If Lebron came back next year, they'd be having among their best. And they'd win 60 with this sorry ass group.

Can we just stop it? One difference.

What brought it all home again was last night watching tWoA without Bosh and Wade.

He took 3 three-point shots all night making one.

Instead he put his head down and went to the rim for 38 points and 14 free throws. Along the way he got Mike Miller 20 shots, about 18 of them uncontested, and Miller scored 32.

Chalmers and Jones each took a total of five three-point shots where fans were actually closer to the shooter than Raptor defenders who collapsed on James.

They were 5-5.

I hate that cocksucker like he was he was a baby-killing Taliban.

But that's what he did here too.

They scored 120 without two stars and without James hitting three point shots.

The argument is stupid. But now that people have put it out there it has to be defended at the risk of being even more ridiculous. Consider it 'board phenomena'. It happens all the time.

Not going to hash and rehash and sound like a broken LP, but ^ keep making my (& Madre's point) and I don't think you ever realize it.

I think you and Madre might need to get together and more formally define what your point is. Because I'm not understanding it either.

Not today though. It's Madre's birthday and the last thing he's wishing for is to spend it with you. I'm pretty sure of that. :lmfao:

I am supporting your point....accept for the fact that I understand the difference between "supporting cast" and "blows"

Lebron took a bunch of guys that blew, and appeared to make them a supporting cast.

Now he's gone, and they just blow.

Again, even if by your definition they were solid supporting cast members, they ought to show up somewhere in the league and look like they have some value. Even as a supporting cast member somewhere else.

Not get cut.

Or blow.
