Multiple billboards congratulating TCU on its Rose Bowl victory popped up in Columbus, Ohio, several days after the Horned Frogs defeated Wisconsin 21-19.

Gotta give TCU credit. I've been bagging on em the last 3 years with most of the people who reside outside of the state of Texas. The team can play. I thought the Badgers were gonna roll over em after jamming that opening drive down their GD Horned Frog throats.

Then TCU outplayed em for the next 55 min.

Badgers had the best OL in the country this year. Were a very legit foe.

If there's a better coach in the country than Gary Patterson, someones gotta make the case to me.

Why would Miles leave such a sweet gig like LSU? Dude also makes $4+ million a year, which means any school courting him would have to offer Miles money that would put him in the Mack/Stoops/Saban echelon to make it worth his while to leave.

I'll tell you what though, whoever is coaching this team next year has some serious young talent. If someone (Mettenburger, Jefferson) can consistently make good decisions under center they can make a run.

As the only major school in a state with more per capita talent than any other in the country, talent is never going to be a question mark. The question will always be about coaching and scheme (and keeping players from Special ed, er, Iberia Parish eligible, lulz).

Not buying the hype on Mettenburger and from what I've seen he's somewhat of a statue who can't move.

The defense also began to suck as the year went on, but we'll see. W/o Newton, Auburn comes back down to Earth next year and the SEC West will probably come down to the LSU at Bama game.

You got me wrong Peek, this billboard doesn't move me one way or the other.

Gee deserved some ridicule and he even participated in some self depreciation himself. I feel no personal responsibility for his comments.

But TCU seems to be acting as if they proved a point....like they are the first non-AQ to prove they can play with the big boys.

Regardless of Gee's comments, BSU beat Oklahoma in a bowl, beat the Pacten Champ last season, beat the ACC champ this season, Utah beat the piss out of Bama 2 years ago in a bowl....

TCU's victory is hardly revolutionary.

This billboard comes off a lot more like little man syndrome than anything else, and to me is particularly ironic considering they jumped faster than a rat off a sinking ship to join the establishment they are clamoring against in that billboard.

So badly in fact did they want to join the big boy table, that they joined an east coast league all the way from texas.

Hell equal parts of me wanted TCU to win, as I dont think that I dislike another coach more than Beilimma.

Bottom line, its an awfully ironic sign, and there is allot more egg on Whisky's face than Gee's.
