Center of the universe

Warren Rd. and Detroit Ave.

Melt
Five Guys
Dave's Cosmic Subs
Chipotles
Deagans (new)
Moes/Jimmy Johns (new) (Rich what are these two like?)
Pacers

There is even a chines take out near Marcs IIRC and an Aladdin's across from hospital.

Rich can speak to what I might have missed but damn if there isn't a fine choice of places to grab a bite and almost any kind of beer you want all within a 60 yard radius.

The Soupermarket is right there as well. Won best soup in Cleveland like 5 years running in Cleveland mag. Like 8-10 different homemade soups every day. Fresh baked crusty bread, great salads.

Deagan's is outstanding. My new hangout. The food and menu is off the charts good. The beer list is even better. Been open like 80 days. Been there prolly 40 of em for lunch or a quick beer after work. It's actually in the same building as my bank ... we lease em the space. Bar stool is like 30 yards from my office chair. It's a little dangerous.

Moe's Southwest Grill opens soon. Haven't been to that Jimmy Johns yet ... been to others.

Also got Pacers and the Lakewood Winking Lizard right down the street. Two of Cleveland's best seafood restaurants (Salmon Daves and Pier W) within a mile or two. The Chinese take out place sucks though. I swear I heard cats squealing in the back last time I was in there.

Great place to work. Also like 5 miles from downtown.

JJ's is a straight up sub shop chain. That's all they do.

JJ's : chipotle :: subway : taco hades

Pretty darn Good but not great. Their mayo is their crack. Dunno what it is, but it is instantly addictive.

For starters, get a large roast beef sub with everything and ask for the peppers; throw in the deli pickle. Don't look back.

I've bet getting one like every other day.

Don't forget The Place To Be for some awesome gyros and omlettes.

Of course all the good stuff shows up after I leave working in Lakewood.

Much better center of the universe near me.

Pearl Street in Boulder. Illegal Pete's (like Chipotle but more original and apparently where Chipotle got their concept), Boulder Baked - fresh baked cookies, milk by the gallon and grilled cheeses, and combine that with any of the 8 dispensaries within a block. Match made in heaven.

^ CDT's heaven.

Dewey's is at the west end of Detroit approaching Rocky River (near West End, River's Edge) on N side of street. Open floor plan, with a bar, pizza is their specialty, great place to take family for dinner. Pizza is very good mom & pop recipe, they also have standard menu items.

Oh believe me there is nothing special about the place except the menu and the food, otherwise it is what it is, I mean seriously there isn't a stranger collective group of people than Lakewood people.
