I can't blame LeBron for grabbing for that Championship ring instead of signing up for six more years of dragging these losers to the playoffs only to get knocked out every year. Seven years of putting up with incompetence is enough. No one player can win an NBA Championship by himself. And it wasn't just the team, nobody offered Roker a job after he got canned. The Cavs didn't come close to winning the Trophy the last two years, depsite the 66 and 61.
I feel sorry for Gilbert having to sit there and watch LBJ, Bosh and Wade toy with his team. But like somebody said, maybe it was for the best in the long run. Maybe they'll realize they need to back up the truck. They can start with Moon. Watching him backpedal to open up a nice lane for Wade to throw down that 1-on-2 highlight reel dunk was sickening.
It's called defending the rim Pros. No one needs a blatant cheap shot (though no one would give a shit if it came). If you can't or won't defnd the the rim then you're nutless, gutless and heartless. You call it whatever you want.
"Understanding", "Compassionate", whatever.
And unless you live in a hole you understand how raw the emotions with the fans were. To be so detached or selfish that you don't get how hugs, kisses and laughter with the guy who caused the hard feelings wouldn't go over well while he was walking to the rim then those guys aren't worth my time.
The Cavs have no nasty. Haven't for a decade or two. That's a roster full of talentless, gutless, heartless pussies. It's either that or they're incredibly stupid and selfish. Either way I want nothing to do with them. I dread the nights my name is on the schedule to write the recaps. Not because I have an issue writing the game but moreso because I have to watch it to do so.
Nothing like watching ESPNews to catch the score from the AZ/ASU game only to see the talking head behind the desk open up the hour by doing a chalk toss.
