Of course it at least sort of feels that way. Let's face it up until this recent spell of scum suck the game was obviously HUGE in regards to the Big10 but both teams were usually ranked among the top 10-12, lending some kind of weight to the match up nationally.

Now, with scum being consistently unranked come kickoff, it's bleh. While Cooper had his obvious issues in this rivalry OSU NEVER even came close to being as bleh as this michigan team. I mean by all rights in half of Cooper's games v. scum they were 2 of the top 5-8 teams in the country.

This week while great for the rivalry aspect always make me wonder now who Mac is trying to convince he doesn't "care" about it or college ball in general.

Where the fuck are the linebackers today? We have seen BR and RH a few times (couple of big plays), but on a play to play basis, they are absent. That is why every run is going for 10 yards and also why Jermale Hines is making every tackle. I have not slowed it down or rewatched it, is the scUM o-line getting to the next level?

Pryor looks great today. That was a terrible play to end the half, but they are finally calling a game that actually matches his skill set. He should be in the gun every down, from the spread, expecting to pass. If the WRs are covered then he does it with his legs. Making him NFL ready (and using 3/5/7 step drops) is really not our problem. Also, I would really like to see OSU use the fucking Pistol more. There is a reason lots of teams use it, because it fucking works with spread teams and shotgun QBs.

The only thing I disagree with is how they are using Pryor, not using his legs enough IMO. Using him in a drop back or shotgun, then allowing his legs to either gain yards or open up the passing lanes is the best way to use him, and if we insist on running him from under center or shotgun, do it while going wide giving him lane options. He does not like contact and running him between tackles is useless. Notice his running style while escaping a rush v open field, interesting, is it a patience thing?

Has anyone taken a close look at the computer polls?

I can't really make heads or tails of it but since Ohio State's computer ranking is so lousy, they are sure to move up a lot more spots in some of these computer polls than Wisconsin will.

Teams typically ahead of Ohio State that lost:
Ok. St.
Ala
LSU
Boise

On the flip side Arkansas was just 1 behind the buckeyes, and Mich. State is sure to rise from 12. I don't know if we can hand this Rose Bowl over to Wisky. Of course the human polls are key, but this strange combination of losses could juggle the computer rankings quite a bit. Wisky might fly by Stanford too it's hard to say.
