Is this an unhappy veteran sending a message with his aches and pains or is it just an abundance of care being taken by the player/Cavs.

Because I'm starting to swing toward the former.

Cavs at least look focused and intent on moving the ball tonight. Nice to see Mo knock down a couple early ones.

Followed up by a shitty 2nd quarter.

Meh... I'd have taken an 8-point halftime lead. I'm not at all convinced this won't be a double-digit loss though.

Will someone show Mo the appropriate way to perform a layup?

Play good first half of ball to keep people happy, then lose it in the end in frustrating fashion to make "rebuilding" sense!

Ughh....

It's becoming increasingly apparent just how mediocre the talent surrounding TWoA actually was.

I mean, my God.

Mo, Boobie, Jawad, AP, Moon et al. Where's the 'Puke' emoticon?

Jawad is absolutely awful. Needs to be cut midgame, just get him out of there.

Look at Boobie respond to my cagey cajoling with ten straight.

Sometimes you have to kick these guys in the ass. :hide:

Why when I finally turn the corner and think long term "high draft pick" solution we come back and win a game we should lose.

Graham should be playing ahead of Jawad no doubt. Nice that 'wad is already an expiringdeal huh. These guys were brought in the be open spot shooters, they say they can do more, but at this point its not looking good for them outside flashes from Mo and Boobie.

Parker gets a lot of heat here, but the dropoff from him to 'wad and Moon is pretty far.

^Not that his expiring means anything. Just pointing out he is only on a 1 year deal.

44 point 4th quarter on a night where defense was optional.

And Boobie had 17 of 'em after responding to my encouragement.

Nice to break that three game skid heading into Washington.

With a schedule of Washington tomorrow, a back-to-back with the Nets, and Indy and Philly again before Nov 16, we could seriously be a few games over .500 mid-November.

Didn't see the game but couldn't help but notice that AV and Mo were huge contributors with 23 and 22 pts, plus AV's 10 boards. During the three-game losing streak Mo only played a few minutes of the 3rd game and Andy was mainly catching passes at the top of the key and handing it to a guard.

Both these guys missed a lot of training camp and the installation of the new offense.

One game doesn't prove anything but now that both of them are back and getting involved in the offense it should improve the team significantly. Sessions is interesting but too inconsistent at this point and Hollins is not a scorer.
