E$PN breaks the bank for Texas

$12 million annually guaranteed to Texas from the Worldwide Leader for distribution of Longhorn TV. Combined with the Big 12 share, Texas will lead the nation in TV revenue. Kind of shows who's got the whip hand in the Big 12... and makes Texas's position that much more secure in a conference that they control.

I bet Nebraska is glad they bailed out when they did.

Good for Texas, not great for the B12. Seems like the attitudes toward UT in that conference were fairly accurate IYAM.

Its not very surprising that teams like Nebraska were bitter.
