Looks like no Andy tonight as he is with his father as he undergoes heart surgery.

Anyone have any news on Mo's situation?

By the way I just want to comment on the supreme lack of effort in the fat guy's sign in the top image.

Fully appreciate the sentiments though

Mo Williams will be a game-time decision vs. the Raptors on Friday.
Cavaliers coach Byron Scott wants Mo to learn the offense better before starting at PG -- he lost time this preseason due to a groin injury and personal matters. Unless you're out of alternatives, keep him benched while we wait for Friday's verdict.

Could come off the bench then from the sounds of it, but won't start just yet.

Looks like we're gonna get more Sessions and Boobie action. AJ and Hollins will get a ton more playing time too tonight.

Looks like you'll see a lot of a smaller lineup as well w/ AV at home and Hollins as our only C. Looks like JJ will get thrown back into that role. Hope he doesn't have flashbacks to when Roker put him there. Hopefully, as Peeks pointed out in another thread, Sessions looks to become more of a distributor tonite.

Will be flipping between this game and the Heat/Magic game. Want to see if Orl will exploit the Heat's interior D or will Stan revert back to the Master of Panic
Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

I'll take the Magic with the 3.5 points thank you.

IMO the Magic is a really tough team to play when you don't know each other. It would not shock me to see a double digit Magic win this early in the Heat's process. Which would be great since they were in a near-panic after Tuesday down there.

Oh shit...forgot...go Cavs....woo. ;-) ;)

It's the regular season so he'll be fine.

I know it doesn't belong here, but it doesn't need its own thread.

It was reported yesterday that the Heat still have several hundred tickets on sale for their home opener tonight.

Beyond pathetic.

Go Cavs!!!

Don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but Mike Snyder and Jim Chones are doing radio for Tait. They were pretty good in game 1.

I feel like I'm about to fall in love with this year's team. Completely slighted pros who can run and get shots. If the bigs, led by Andy and JJ, can haul down boards we'll win some games.

Go Cavs.

Needed Mo badly last night, although they still would have lost. Sessions was 1-10 with 5 turnovers. He's playing out of control. Hickson was out of it and only played 18 minutes due to foul trouble. So we had a Leon Powe sighting and he didn't look bad, at least offensively.

I was also intrigued by my first look at Samardo Samuels. The guy is 6'9", 260 with some hops and offensive skills. We need some muscle up front to complement the finesse guys Jamo and Moon. Maybe this guy can develop into a useful piece off the bench.

Without Andy this team will win very few games. With Andy and Mo out and Sessions and Hickson melting down there's no chance.

Let's see if they can bounce back tonight against the Kings with both teams playing a back-to-back. Andy should be back and we're at home, so I expect a better performance.

I think we have seen both ends of the meter so far. One game max'd out the "bunch" of role players, the other was pure suck across the board. Either way 1 game is an anecdote, and we shall see what happens tonight.

However if they do tank and trade a couple players I would hope Mo, who has a semi-competent replacement on the roster, and Jamo, who $$$ at this point of his career makes sense only on a winner or as an expiring. Keep Andy. All other things being equal.

I think Orenthal is right

Wednesday we saw what this team can do when everything is clicking and almost every player is performing at an optimum level (AJ being an exception)
Last night was a game where 1 or 2 players are doing badly and there's no one to pick up their slack and bail them out.
