Bama Gamecocks thread.....

14-3 South Caolina, and they look good....but playing Bama is a marathon not a sprint.

Winning 1st Q means nothing vs this team.

Wow SoCar looking good. Maybe Spurrier hasn't lost his touch particularly with 14 days to get ready. You know, I was pretty drunk when I watched that UF/Bama game. Florida is pretty fucking bad this year.

21-3 Cocks!

Lattimore is clearly the best Frosh back since Peterson, and Clarett before him.

Thats good company

My god, SC making this look easy, I gotta say I'm thoroughly enjoying it

Alabama is walking into a buzzsaw today. And the Tide aren't helping themselves with piss-poor tackling. Lots of yards-after-contact for the Cocks today.

It's been all Good Stephen Garcia so far. 8-of-8 with three touchdown passes. Ball Coach just needs to hope Bad Stephen doesn't make an appearance.

Hell of a catch by the Cocks WR. Alabama has a tough-ass schedule.

I dunno EW. There are far worse years to be playing PSU and FLA IMO. And SCar is Jekyll-Hyde depending on Garcia.

Jeffrey is very good. Julio Jones gets all the press, but Jeffrey is a serious player and is probably a better pro.

It sucks to say this because I really wanted to see OSU vs. 'Bama for the NC, but I am pulling hard for 'Bama. I really don't want to see OSU be the odd man out if they run the table.

Bama showing you exhibit A of why sometimes tress does what he does....SC didn't make a strong effort to make Bama use timeouts or run down the clock with the ball and 3 min left up 21-3, and here Bama is inside the 20.

Against Tress this game is in halftime already IMO

I bet Saban doesn't want this game to come down to a field goal attempt by Alabama's kicker. His kingdom for Leigh Tiffin right now.

What do you think though about that end of the half.....poor decisions by Spurrier or am I being overly critical...

I think SC has to take measures to go into the locker room up 21-3.

No, I agree with you. Kill that clock and keep that 21-3 lead at half. Especially since I think the Cocks get the ball to start the second half.

I can't even comprehend what Garcia was doing on that play. It's almost like he just kind of threw a tantrum over the snap and said, "Screw it."

You could actually feel the air go out of the stadium on that safety. And South Carolina has always been kind of a snake-bitten program, too. It's almost like the fans there have started to wait for the other shoe to drop.

Not as impressive looking as a H2H blow, but Demarco just had two textbook blocks in a row to spring that TD

Boren would do well to learn that move and save his body some times...

The Cocks certainly LOOK like a big-time team. Some teams just have that big-time look and some don't. Michigan is a case of the former, the Cocks are a case of the latter.
