I think Lynch said to Tressel "Don't worry...those two calls on your guys were horseshit"

Dan- any ETA on the game re-cap? I have a clambake at 5pm and need to make arrangements to get the story up. Unless it's late tonight when I'm home.

Nothing, just def an exchange longer than I'm used to, particularly for Indy's coach.

We have actually seen that game, both teams are largely the same. That said, does anyone play defense anymore?

and I will man up and say that Illinois is a lot better than I thought and that game doesn't bother me as much now. That said, the running game with #1 OL still isnt right. This week it was the OL. I like Carlos Hyde and Berry a LOT! The bucks took step toward fixing the running game today (BS not playing tailback).
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

Dunno how he's going to play before 2012, unless by injury...

Furls, player and team progression is NOT a linear process. We might still beat them right now, but just because it works in our favor doesn't mean I'm going to all of sudden pretend last years results should be an end all be all the next season.

Kelley in his 2nd year is settling in and he would do a little better with another shot at OSU's D IMO. Problem for them is we are a good bit better ourselves.

We are the better team IMO, but you wont find me pointing to last season alone to prove it.

They were discussing 15th century English Literature. Lynch is a fan of John Lydgate, while Tress prefers Reginald Peacock (a tleast his early stuff, we all know he sold out later on).

You'll have to believe that he beats out Sabino in that case Dan. Bino is a MLB now.

I don't think he can beat out Bino for the middle, or Sweat and Bell for the outside.

Klein has been a better linebacker than Sabino since they both got to OSU. Klein has been 2nd on the depth chart at MLB since last year. He makes more plays in one game than Sabino has made in two years in Columbus. Right now, I don't think it's even a contest, with Storm gaining experience while Sabino redshirts.

Sabino might be a better athlete, but that didn't stop Sweat from beating him out this year.

I can't argue with you there WIz, but just so you know, the OSU official depth chart had Sabino as the #2 MLB the second he decided to redshirt.

I just think it will be very difficult to keep Klein off the field next year. He's Homan's clone. We have plenty of time to observe and debate between now and then, right?

Right.

And FTR, you have NO argument from me as to who's produced so far, Klein probably made more plays today than Sabino in his career....
