In defense of their mediocrity, that's not going to be the starting lineup against Boston in three weeks.

But Ryan Hollins is the only true center on the roster right now. That is fact. And that is scary.

Either this team is going to score 100 points on a given night, or it is going to lose. Winning with D is not an option with the roster as currently constructed. Lord Byron knows this, which is why he's running their asses off in practice. Blowing transition buckets for this team is absolute suicide.

if they continue to fall flat and look, very LA clipper-esque, you could see them heading on out to kansas city or las vegas, with gilbert cutting his losses then and there.

maybe he sells them and purchases the tampa bay ligtning or the florida panthers?

I'm not sure it goes down like that though, I think Gilbert has too much invested in this franchise for it to suddenly go belly up.

Make no mistake though, these next couple of years will be quite lean to say the least..

Honestly, I'm just looking for good effort every night from this team, and that's what we got tonight. Much the same way I just want to see the Browns play hard every week. You can't win the talent battle right now, so at least win the effort battle.

Outworking the other team still won't be enough to beat the likes of Miami, who can coast for 44 minutes and win it with a 16-2 burst at the end of the game. That's how LBJ rolled for seven years here, and he'll be able to do it in Miami, too.

But the Cavs can at least make the games exciting by playing like a hungry underdog. If Ramon Sessions can be this team's Peyton Hillis, bouncing off of defenders on kamikaze drives to the hoop, that will pass for must-see TV this year.

Unless Grant and Gilbert would like to pull off a blockbuster that lands us a star and spikes fan interest again. Anytime they want to do that would be cool with me.
