Swerb has been so kind as to offer threads on his website for SURVIVOR and PICK 17 use.
All 2010 players will have to register and submit picks at the site. You will be able to view all others' selections as they happen.
You must take a minute to register. It's quick and painless and safe. Your address will not be forwarded on to anyone else.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO if you want to play either or both games.
1. Read the rules.
2. Reply by e-mail to me that you are playing.
3. Pay the dues. All must be paid prior to the start of the NFL season. We'll start both games on week one.
4. Go to
www.TheClevelandFan.com and click 'The Boards'. Then click Register. You will be prompted to provide an e-mail address, screen name and your own password. The host will send you a confirmation at some point after you register. It's usually pretty quick, but Swerb is a tad busy lately.
5. After you receive confirmation, go back to
www.TheClevelandFan.com . Click 'The Boards'. Then click 'The Gambler's Den' . You will see a thread titled 'JP's 2010 NFL Survivor' and 'JP's 2010 NFL Pick 17' . Submit your picks for the respective game on each thread.
Please forward to anyone who may be interested.
Cost for each game is $50.

and distinct games. You are welcome to participate in either or both.
Let me know which you will be playing. Feel free to pass this on to
anyone that may be interested.
E-mail or call me if you are interested. You may forward this to anyone
who you think may like it. All dues must be paid prior to making first selection. If you
received this more than once, sorry; you are on duplicate mailing lists.
2010 RULES
NFL SURVIVOR
1. There is a $50 entry fee, payable before any picks are made.
Winner takes all.
2. You must pick one NFL team each week and it must win outright (tie games lose). No
pointspreads are involved.
3. You may take any one particular NFL team only once during the entire season.
4. When you lose, you are eliminated. The last player remaining wins.
5. If in any given week all remaining contestants (two or more) get
eliminated, those contestants have no choice but to continue, still unable to choose a team
previously chosen, until one winner remains.
6. If after the last NFL regular season week there is more than one
contestant still alive, those contestants split the kitty equally.
7. All games played during the weekend (Thursday through Monday), are considered equal. In
other words, a player eliminated on Thanksgiving Thursday does not
lose to a player eliminated four days later on Monday night.
8. To make a selection, you must submit a pick at the
www.TheClevelandFan.com by 1:00 pm EDT/EST each Sunday. If there are Thursday or Saturday games
where you want to pick a team, you must submit your selection before kickoff.
9. If you fail to post by the requisite time you will be automatically be given a
default pick. The default selection will be the Monday Night game underdog. If there are more than one game on Monday, the default pick will be the largest dog that night. If you have already used the deafult team, then you will be eliminated.
10. Selections will be available on the website for all to view. Once we get down to a few teams, you will be able to post your pick privately. More on this later.
11. If you have any questions about your status you may call or e-mail address and we will get back to you.
