Happy birthday to a good man and a diehard Tribe fan. I hope your wife doesn't swear like a sailor on your birthday. Or maybe I do.

Thanks for the well wishes. Nothing special planned today. Dinner is on hold for now as Mrs. H is on her way home from a late night at work. I made grilled, marinated pork chops, green beans and garlic mashed potatoes with a little cheddar and sour cream. My Mom's cherry pie for dessert.

I don't think the Mrs. will be swearing tonight for two reasons I can think of right away:
1) Kerry Wood is no longer blowing saves for the Tribe
2) The game is on the west coast and we probably will not see any of it.

I am a die hard Tribe fan and my birthday wish would be a brighter future for the Tribe but i really done't see good things for a couple years. In the mean time, I will keep my rose colored glasses on.
