Topics Marked as Read, without Actually Entering that Forum

When I login and go to the index, I see that many forums have new posts. Oh joy. I start with Browns and Tribe, and move my way down. Then wife or phone or boss or something makes me exit. When I return, even though i never entered a particular forum, all the unread messages are marked as read. Any ideas?

That's pretty standard (if strange) cookie behaviour for phpBB, I'm afraid.

I'll see if I can find a fix for it, though.

If it's standard, don't worry about it. Happens after the auto logout and I log back in. I may need to delete and older cookies as described in another thread.
