Saw a few clips from last night's love fest in Miami. Was stunned to hear D Wade say "you're welcome to all the other NBA teams when we come to your arena it will be sold out" Over/under on all 3 of those guys staying healthy all year long?
"It's all about winning for me, and I think the Cavs are committed to doing that," he said. "But at the same time I've given myself options to this point, and like I said before, me and my team, we have a game plan that we're going to execute, and we'll see what we get."

"We had a great time together."

If you look at Miami's draft all they did was load up on the one thing they were not going to be able to get in FA, defensive minded centers. They drafted as if they already knew this plan was a done deal.

Exactly. Varnado out of MSU might be the best defensive big man in the draft. Now, he can't do much else, but how's life for that rookie when all he has to do is the one thing he CAN do.

Personally, I'm hoping for a broken ankle, torn ACL, and a shredded UCL.

How many times in visiting cities did LBJ have parties to attend and then the next day play lethargic? Look how LBJ played in Game 2 against Boston when he and the team had the MVP party hangover. Now he's gonna have South Beach at his disposal nightly? I see a number of hangover type performaces from him, especially at home. More than a handful and Miami fans may start slightly turning on him, especially if they see him out and about before said games. At least the handful of real basketball fans that is.

Some Miami fans have already turned on him. Both of my friends who are Heat fans, neither of whom hated or loved him before, have been spewing non-stop hate since the Decision. I'm sure they'll come around after the first championship, but for now they're both of the mind that a Wade-Bosh combo would have been enough to snag at least one title, and all LeBron did was make it that the team is no longer fun to root for.

How do things play out?

Looks like second fiddle for the former Cav or is he getting a better view at the next back he's gonna stab?

Windy tweeting that Z is close to accepting a contract from the Heat.

Shit. Now if they win a title, I'll be forced to be happy for someone on that monument to self-indulgence they call a roster.

Windy's tweeting that Z is close to signing with the Heat. Sounds like it is a done deal. So there goes another Cavalier icon to chase a ring in South Beach. Z gives them some cheap frontcourt depth, I guess, and it's hard to get upset with him for leaving to try and win a title. I would have liked to see him go somewhere besides Miami instead of following the traitor.

Funny how James is suddenly into recruiting players to come play.

Awesome. Especially after Wade was also out front during their intro in Miami the day after.

Wade looks like he's about ready to go onto Out-Q and discuss matching his tablecloth to his chiffon drapes.

It's easy to ready everything into Wade's central placement in the photo, until you realize that Wade was sitting on LBJ's knee. With his legs crossed at the knees and his fingers splayed elegantly over the top.
